prologue

Haven Connecticut
Ten Years ago

He watched them.
As they bustled around the grounds of the school, he silently picked out the ones he would take. They were the ideal age, and they would be perfect for what he had in mind. Each one filled the needs he had, and they would be perfect.

He didn’t need one.

Two wouldn’t be enough.

No.

He needed three.

Everything had to be in threes in order to work. The spells, the magick, and the blessings called for it. The slightest aberration would prove his downfall. When it came down to it, there was very little room for error.

He needed this in the worst way, so he would give the deities exactly what they wanted. If he wanted the reward, he had no other choice but to do it.

He didn’t have any other option.

If he didn't take them, bleed them, and cast the spell, then he’d have no way to get what he so desperately needed.

Love.

So, his mind was made up.

He was doing this.

As he watched the first girl heading his way, he knew she would be perfect for this kind of ‘thing’. A little part of him felt horrible that he was going to do this to her. She was innocent, sweet, and didn’t deserve to be his sacrifice. Deep down, to the darkest corner of his soul, he knew that he was doing something horribly wrong.

Still...

He couldn’t stop.

This was the only way to get the outcome he needed.

If there was some other way, he would have pursued it, and taken that route. Only, there wasn’t. What it came down to was his desires and longings. What mattered most was that he was lonely, and he couldn’t continue on like this.

Without this spell, which he’d been given from some dusty old book, he’d never find happiness.
Three offerings were needed.

He had to make up his mind in that split second, and he couldn’t look back. Once it had begun, it needed to be completed, or it was all in vain.

If he took her, his life would forever change.

He was worried, but he believed that it would work. Part of the spell meant believing in it. Wasn’t that what she had told him?

So, he made the choice.

It was cast in stone in that moment, and fate would forever be altered to this path.

As the first girl cut through the trees, practically heading into his arms, he grabbed her. As she began struggling against him, he threw the saturated towel across her nose and mouth.

She struggled for a few more seconds, but then stopped. Number one went limp in his arms.

It was perfect.

She was out cold.

Dragging her to the trunk of his car, hidden not far in the woods, he bound and gagged her, in case she woke up. The last thing he needed was for her to wake up and cause hell.
That wouldn’t do.

As soon as she was safely tucked inside the trunk, along with the tools he would later need, he went back to work.

There were still two more needed, and he had to get them before the day was over.

Tonight, the spell would happen, and the offering would be made in blood—their blood.

As he sat waiting, he began worrying about the line he had crossed, and what he’d just done. If caught, his life was going to end.

He was going to jail for abduction and then murder. It was monumental, and it scared the shit out of him.

Then, to further build his resolve, he glanced down at his hand and the picture of the angel he wanted more than anything.

She was worth it.

He was doing this to get her.

She was lovely, smart, and he wanted her as his. That would take a miracle, and one hell of a spell.
When he glanced up, he saw the second girl heading his way. Unfortunately, she wasn’t alone. She was with a guy.

Shit!

This wouldn’t do at all. He’d handpicked her for so many reasons, and if he had to take a substitute, it wouldn’t be the same. He had his reasons why she’d be perfect for this.

He needed him to walk away.

Closing his eyes, he began muttering a string of words he didn’t really understand. Hopefully, they were some incantation from the pages of the book. It just might be his miracle.

He finished his whispered words, and when he opened his eyes, the boy was giving her a sweet kiss goodbye.

It had worked!

Who knew he was so powerful?

Had he known that black magic worked so well, he would have dabbled in it earlier.
He was going to be fine! Now that he had this on his side, there was no reason to worry.
It helped him get over his fears.

Now he was ready.

Dousing the next rag, he waited. When the sexy girl waved enticingly at her companion, right before walking away, he knew he chose well.

She was taking the path right toward him.

As she walked by his hiding place, he reached out, grabbing her by the long blonde hair.

She gasped.

There could be no wasted time.

Yanking her roughly into the woods, she had no choice but to go with him. Her yelp was the only sound he heard.

Without missing a beat, he slapped the cloth over her mouth and nose, forcing her to breathe in the sickly sweet concoction.

She struggled.

She fought.

This one was a wildcat, and he didn’t mind in the least. The better the prey, than the stronger the spell.

Right?

Slowly, the fight began leaving her. As she stared up at him with brilliant blue eyes, he thought about the angel in the picture. She would be his.

He could tell.

After all this, he had to have her.

When the girl ceased struggling, he tossed her over his shoulder to begin the short trek to his vehicle. Once there, he placed her inside with the first girl.

As she landed with a thud, they both moaned. He waited a few seconds to make sure they were out cold. When neither girl moved, he felt secure enough to get back to the task at hand.

Gathering his girls.
Preparing for the spell.
Securing his future.

Closing the trunk of the car, he refused to let remorse settle in. If he was going to do this, he couldn’t worry about their lives, and what was going to happen to them.

He couldn’t worry if their families would mourn their disappearances.

If he let that small worm of pity in, he knew what would happen—he’d start to care.

No, that couldn’t be allowed.

Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to stop giving a damn.

His happiness mattered.

For once, he wanted to come first.

He didn’t want to be that screw up who never found the one. Instead, he wanted to be the ‘good’ one. It was always what he craved.

It was important, and he needed to focus on that. Today, it was about reaching out and taking what was his.

Happiness.
Love.
The sweet angel.

Heading back to the perfect spot, he was getting edgy. He wanted to get the hell out of there, and fast.
His only goal at that point was to finish this once and for all, so he could move on with his life.
Seeing the last one, he became excited. He knew for a fact that she had to be a virgin.

Wasn’t that something black magic wanted?

He wasn’t sure, but if it was, he had scored.

She was a total nerd. There were the glasses, the book-laden bag, and the uncool clothing. She looked like some mad scientist who had just escaped from the lab.

And there was number three, heading right toward him. This had been way too easy.
Once she was in his grasp, he was officially done. This had been the hard part. What was to come…he had no idea.

As soon as she entered the path, he grabbed her. Only, she sprayed him with pepper spray and tried to escape back onto the trail that led to freedom.

It enraged him.
It infuriated him.
It made him so angry that she’d seen his face.

As he chased her, she couldn’t outrun him. Her wails for help only made him angrier. If someone heard her, he was screwed.

He couldn’t let that happen.

Right before she cleared the trees, he was on her. She was no match for him, and for that, he was grateful.

She was smaller and scared. This tiny woman was like a deer running from a hunter, and she wasn’t going to escape. He was too close to getting what he wanted.

As he pinned her petite body to the ground, she fought with everything she had.
He fought harder.

After all, he wanted it more.

As she was trapped, she began to whimper from behind his hand.

“If you scream, I’ll hurt you,” he hissed in warning into her ear.

“I won’t tell anyone what you did,” she whispered, as soon as his hand was free from her mouth.

“Please, just let me go. We can forget this ever happened.”

That was a lie, and he knew it. There was no way he could let her leave.

Not now.
Not ever.

He laughed as he pulled the soaked rag out of his pocket. “Are you a virgin?” he asked.
Either way, he had to have her for his spell.

“Yes.”

“Good.”

With that, he shoved the rag roughly across her face and counted to thirty. When her eyes rolled into her head, he kept the rag in place—just to be sure.

Cautiously, he scooped her up. It pained him that she was going to die. After all, she was a sweet kid, and she was kind of pretty beneath the nerdy veneer.

Well, he didn't have a choice now.

She saw him.

She had to die.

For a few seconds, she stirred his emotions and body, but it couldn’t happen.

He’d take her blood and hide her remains.
It’s just how it had to be.
He had no choice.

He was going to make a deal with the devil, and in exchange, he was finally going to have love.

                                                          * * *  L   i   t   t   l  e  m  o  o  n  * * *

Five Years Later

He was finally happy.

The initial spell had been well worth it. After he’d offered the sacrifice, spilled their blood, and spoke the words, he’d gotten his wish, and it was perfect. This peace was all he ever wanted in life.

It’s all he ever needed.

For the last five years, he’d been content.

Only, now he had a huge problem.

Until that moment, he didn’t know there had been a catch to the whole thing. He never suspected that he was going to have to pay in the future for his sins of the past.

Honestly, he never thought this would work, so he never thought about what he’d have to do in order to keep the spell ‘fresh’.

Unfortunately, more blood needed to be spilled. He was going to have to make another sacrifice.

He needed to offer up the blood of three women every five years in order to be virile, strong, and keep the woman he loved. If not, the spell would die, and so would his blessings.

So, he was trapped.

There was no way he could keep her if he didn't do it. There was no way he was man enough to make her stay. With the death of the first three, he was able to hide in plain sight, but now he was forced to relive it, risking being caught.

This was the fear that his nightmares were made of each night. Then and there, he knew that he was a horrible human being for even taking that path.

Still, he was planning to do it again.

Knowing how lucky he got the first time, he chose the same hunting ground. He’d gotten lucky five years ago, and his good fortune held up once more.

After he chose them, he kept them drugged and in his trunk until the witching hour. That was when he would use the spell to gain his power.

At the quickly approaching midnight, he would start the ritual, but first he had to prep them.
They needed to be set up in just the right spots.

Stripping and tying them to the benches, he felt horrible. If anyone found out about this, he was in so much trouble. The only one who knew, other than himself, was his woman.

She liked his power.

She wanted him strong.

That was what kept her with him.

If he lost her, he didn’t know what he would do. So he needed to carry on with his spell. Then, now, and even in the future, he was stuck on this track.

As they stared up at him with wide, scared eyes, he knew it was time.

“I’m so sorry,” he muttered.

Then, he drew the knife across each of their jugulars. The quick gasp of pain, followed by the gurgle of life leaving them filled the silence of the night.

Their end was there.

In it, he would find life, happiness, and peace. He would never forget their sacrifice.

How could he?

They had saved him, giving him love that he wouldn’t have without their offering.
With the blood dripping onto the plastic lined ground, he drew the symbols in the book on his victims, and then on his own torso.

With each kiss of his finger to his flesh, he felt more and more powerful. As the copper scented blood left a trail across his skin, in his head, he was already casting the spell.

For love.
For power.
For strength.

He wanted it so damn bad. In his life, he never wanted anything more.

When the three girls had bled dry, he slowly dumped the blood over him, letting it coat his body. The symbols disappeared, and he felt the spell being cast.

She was right.

It was working.

When he opened his eyes, he saw the carnage.

He was a killer, but he was trapped between what he had and what he could lose.

“It’s done,” he whispered. “I’m good for another five years.”

Then he heard his own words, and he wept.

Are you ready for more books?

Happy Hump Day all!

It's the start of my midweek, and I'm here to give you all another book to add to the collection!
It's preorder day for Blood Shall Run, the 15th book in the FBI series. I swear you just had book 13 and 14...

Because you did!!!
I hope you really enjoyed them. The reviews were good, but they didn't get as many as I though they would. So, if you can, before you check out the next FBI book on Amazon, can you drop me a little review or two?

I would appreciate it.
Anyway... on to new business.

Here is the preoder link to get Blood shall run.

I hope you enjoy it when it comes out. I had fun writing it. Here's the description.

The oddest things happen in New Orleans when the sun goes down. It’s not all partying and flashing for beads.
This case is going to be proof of it.

Elizabeth Blackhawk has left FBI West with a new career in front of her. She’s opted to work in the field and leave the directing to fall on those who can stomach it. With Ethan’s promotion to Deputy Director, she has even more on her plate—wife, mother, partner, and full time seeker of justice. Coming back home means that she’s going to be heading up the violent crimes team out of Quantico, and if this case is any indication, it’s going to be one hell of a ride.

But she’s ready.

Maybe…

Handpicked, already trained, and itching to hit the ground running, her team is prepared for their first big case. With her partner, Callen Whitefox, at her side and Christopher Leonard back, nothing can stop her.

Right?

But is Chris over the trauma that has forever changed his life? Is he holding it together, ready to break at any moment? Can she count on him when she needs him most?

Only time, and this case, will tell.

Heading to The French Quarter sounds like fun, until the team is stuck in the middle of a madman’s killing spree. Blood, Voodoo, hexes, and more have the team struggling to stay on their toes against someone who must  kill to live. It’s his will to survive versus their will to save the innocent, and it’s going to be a bloody battle to the end.

It’s a grudge match that’s bound to get down and dirty in The Big Easy.

It’s a life for a life in the race against the clock to save not only the victims of his crimes, but also the team.

Will their run be over just as it’s beginning?

Can Elizabeth Blackhawk hold up under the weight of all the responsibility as she matches wits with someone so sick, twisted, and sadistic that it might be her own end?

Will coming home be the death of her as Blood Shall Run?

There you go! It'll be out before you know it! June 10th is the big day! Reserve your copy, of if you use the Kindle Unlimited program, mark it on your calendars!

The fun is coming!!!

Again, much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

So?

How did you like it?

By now, most of you have finished the final Croft book.

Did I do it justice? Was it one hell of a ride? I really hope so. It was an emotional book to write, and I know I left a few things hanging at the end, but I promise they will all be resolved in the first book in the new series.

Cross my heart...

Thank you all for the reviews, comments, emails, and posts on FB. I appreciate each and every one. Hearing from you, the reader, is always important to me. I can't do what I do, unless I have you guys giving me feedback.

So, once again, if you haven't left a review, please do. Each and everyone matters. They give me a direction of how to take the next book, or if I've simply lost my damn mind and need to reel it back in before the train goes off the tracks.

Next month is Haven of Nightmares, the next Littlemoon book. I can't wait for you to read it. There are more spooks, more bumps in the night, and you're going to learn more about Roman Remington, and what chases his life.

It's going to be an interesting ride!
I can promise you that.
Bethany and Trey are back, and they're up to their old antics. So, be ready! It's coming soon!

In April, I'll be going on hiatus for six weeks, but I'll try to get to my computer to keep you all updated. I have to have back surgery, so I'll be plotting everything from recovery on my couch.

Keep loving!
And remember....

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

MK

The final Croft book is here!

Well, it was bound to happen.
This journey has come to an end. It's a bittersweet day for me. We're at the end of the Croft & Croft series. Today, the book goes live.

I hope you love it and like the direction I've taken it in. (fingers crossed)

Here's the link to buy the ebook

Here's the link for the paperback.

I hope you enjoy them!!! Don't forget to leave a review!!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Release day is coming!

Morning all!

I'm heading into the office this morning to start working on the new Croft series, and I realized that tomorrow there's another release!

The final Croft & Croft book, Justice is Dead, will be out. I hope you all enjoy it! It's going to take you for one heck of  ride! I can promise that!

Pop back in here tomorrow for the links!

I hope you've all enjoyed the last two FBI books. I loved writing them. I'm excited to get back to them. I've finished book 15, Blood shall Run, and it's been edited and is now with proofing. It's going to be Merry's story. You're going to meet Detective Boone Savage in New Orleans (one of my favorite cities on earth) and their love story will begin.

You're also going to see how difficult the move across the country is going to be. Ethan's been promoted, Elizabeth has her own division, and Callen's started a new career. There are going to be some bumps in the road, a little bit of chaos, and some jealousy thrown in.

What happens when the team isn't the same team it once was when it left FBI West?

You'll find out.

Now I'm grabbing my coffee, hitting the laptop to format the next Croft book, and letting it rip. Wish me luck! I hope I do you all proud!!!

See you tomorrow for a new book.

Much love, mayhem, and murder.

It's the weekend!

Hey, all!

Just checking in to see how all of you enjoyed the next two FBI books.

Did you enjoy the flashback book, Past will Haunt, and the followup book Choices will Destroy?

I hope so!

I'm contemplating another flashback next February with Elizabeth as Miss Kitty. Everyone always asks me for a back story on her, so I think you're going to get it. Again, in honor of Valentine's Day, I'll do a double book release for the month. You'll get the flashback, and then you'll get the present day book.

I think this time, we're going to learn about Tony Magnus when he joined the team. So, you'll have Lyzee, Chris, Tony, and of course I'll slip Ethan into the mix. We'll see how he's doing out on his own, and how the FBI began making him into that dark, obsessed agent that he was when Elizabeth met him.

I've just wrapped the next Vamp book. Book 5 and 6 will be out this November and December. They're off my book To Do list, so I can move on to the next novel. I'm starting Oracle Seeing ~ Book 2 on Monday.

I can't wait.

I love writing the Oracle and Littlemoon books, because I can wing them. I sit, tell the story, and that's it. There's not a lot of forensics in them, and while I love me some science, I don't always like the research! It's very time consuming.

So, after the Oracle book, I'm going to be writing the new Justice series. In March, you'll be getting your hands on the final Croft & Croft book. I've opted to end the series, but not for good. I wanted to take it into a new direction. The characters tell their own story. I just put it down on paper. If you want to see the covers, go to the tab above and click on the Justice series. I have the first 10 covers done, and each one coincides with someone in the family. You'll understand more after you read the final book, Justice is Dead in March.

I love Greyson Croft. He's modeled after my husband, Victor, and if you follow me on FB, or are on my private page, you know he's totally my caveman.

Here's my Facebook page if you're on FB and want to friend me. I sometimes throw out some hints, tidbits, or clues as to what's coming. This is the page where I get to be me. This is where Morgan Kelley behaves badly. (Kidding. Maybe)

Here's my fan page on FB

If you haven't read the newest releases...catch up! It's going to be a wild ride! The rest of the year is packed with books. There are 9 more books to come! I hope you stick around for the fun!

And again...thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a review. They're very important to us Indie authors. We're competing with powerful publishing houses, and it's not easy to get Amazon's attention. Each review matters, plus it lets me know if I'm doing my job.

Please show me some love :)

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Choices will Destroy is here!

By now, you probably already started Past will Haunt, but you're in luck!
For the Valentine's Day weekend, I wanted to share the love, so you'll have the follow up book available too!

I couldn't make you wait 4 months after reading Past will Haunt. So, Choices will Destroy is available here.

I hope you enjoy it, and you'll leave me two reviews! I'm curious as to how all of you feel about the flashback book. If you like it, there will be more. If you hate it...

I'm sorry! lol.

Have a great Valentine's Day!
Share the love!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

An AMAZING week for me!

Happy weekend!

I'm popping in to thank you all for the amazing reviews for Oracle Rising! I appreciate each and every one. I've also had some personal emails that were simply amazing.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!
I love my job, and the best part is getting to know my readers.
This week was a huge week for me (and my books). I placed Haven of Nightmares online for pre-order for April, and an amazing thing happened.

It went to number two on the 'Amazon Hot New Release' list, the top 10 for sales (which is amazing since it's not out yet) and the Amazon Best Seller list.

That's so freaking awesome.

Then, as if I wasn't blessed enough, two more books hit the Bestseller list.

Both FBI Books that are coming out have landed there too--side by side!

As a writer, the only ways to gauge if you're doing something right is to get reviews, and to land on Amazon's lists.

So thank you.
From the bottom of my heart, I appreciated it.

Now, get ready for February. We have two FBI books heading your way! I hope you enjoy them! I know I did!

If you haven't left a review, please do so! They don't have to be big, they don't have to be a work of art! Just jot down a few words to keep an Indie author doing what she loves!

If you're in the track of the blizzard, like we are, stay safe, stay warm, and STAY IN!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Already? Time flies!

There's one thing I've noticed now that I'm getting older. Time is going by so quickly. Today, my next book, Haven of Nightmares,  ( book five )  goes up for presale. I swear I was just writing this before thanksgiving, and now it's ready to be released into the world.

I loved writing this book.
When I first decided to spin off the Littlemoons, I wasn't sure that I could pull it off. After all, the FBI series has a lot of forensics, lab scenes, and the sex. (Can't forget that) I wasn't positive I could transition to a spooky series. When it was suggested i try my hand at a grown up version of Scooby-Doo with a twist, I actually laughed. Thank God my friends had more faith in me than me.

Needless to say, this installment in the Littlemoon Investigations series is going to be the spookiest of them all. We have a killer, some crazies, and a lot of bumps in the night. I've found that I love the paranormal and ghosts. They're so much fun to play with. Trey...Bethany... they make me smile when they give Julian a hard time.

So, I hope you get some giggles, a few tears, and a couple of gasps when you read Haven of Nightmares. I know I did, and I knew what was coming!

Pre-order available HERE!

Here's the book's description.

Roman Remington has a secret. It stems from his childhood and his family. He’s a child of privilege who, on a horrible day, lost it all. His family had created, built, and run a teaching empire. The wealthy from around the country sent their children to Remington Academy to get their educations. At one time, it was the best the East coast had to offer.
Haven had it all…
Literally.
Something horrible lurked there in the hallowed halls.
It was death.
It was destruction.
It was blood.
So Roman did what he thought best.
He left, never to return.

Now, all these years later, he still owns the shuttered academy, and he has no intention of going back. That is until on the eve of his family’s deaths, she walks back into his life.

Matilda Boyd is beautiful, smart, witty, and the spitting image of her murdered twin, a girl Roman once loved. As soon as she tries to hire the Littlemoons, Roman has no choice but to come clean.
It’s all coming out, and Roman, Matilda, and the Littlemoons are on the case. They need to find who committed the town’s worst atrocities, and who is still reveling in the blood.

            This is Roman’s worst nightmare.

Haven and Roman will never be the same again.

Off to start working on the Vampyre series for this christmas! I hope you all enjoy them when they come out! Flynn has a lot of changes coming in his life. I hope Jolie and Jacques are ready for them!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

MK

2016 The year of change!

Happy weekend, all!

I'm popping in to ask you how you liked Oracle Rising? Did it make you happy? I really hope so! I really enjoy Avalon, and then Rhett and Juliett made me smile.
I read the reviews on Amazon, and the request for a followup story for them. Not sure if it'll happen, but you never know! (Ps. I do read each and every review, and am so thankful for them too! xoxoxoxo)

I also have been getting questions on my blog about the cover reveal that was done on Deanna's World blog. Yes, there is a new series coming out. (There are actually a few!)  It's projected for this summer, but it may not be released until January. It's about 1/3 of the way done, and I'm enjoying how it's coming along. I'll submit it to my team, get their opinion, and go from there.

If you missed it, you can find the author spotlight here.

2016 is going to be a year of change.

If you're a fan of my vampyre series, the Harcourte Society, you know that the series will be coming to an end in book 7. Don't worry though, it's spinning off for the readers who need their sexy vampyre fix. Here's the last covers in Jolie's saga, and then the spin off!

In addition, the Coven Chronicles will also be out to fill your paranormal cravings.

Here's the cover and synopsis.

Morgana Thorne lives in the dark.
Her whole life, she has been tasked with protecting her kind and the humans around her. It's her calling as the priestess. She holds the circle intact, ready to defend anyone against that evil that lurks.

Well, the time has come.

The coven has been recalled by the powers that be, set into action by a grizzly string of murders in a ritual sacrifice. It's the beginning of the end for the world. As everything begins falling apart, it's also falling into place.
Love can protect them.
Before Morgana can even think about saving the humans, she needs to save herself. Her human is out there. He's waiting to be claimed. All she has to do is...

Convince him to believe.
Protect him from the evil that wants them dead.
Cast the recalling spell to bring them all home.
Survive.

It's all so daunting.
With her companion, a shape shifting familiar, Morgana has one chance to stop the soul demon from destroying the natural balance of their world.
That one chance seems so slim...

All Morgana can hope is Detective Devon Hawthorne is ready for what's coming. They are marked as mates, and he has to be willing to take that chance.

If they fail, it's not only their lives on the line.

They will lose all of humanity.

FOREVER...

There you go! Some of you are so astute that you picked up the name in the back of the book! That's impressive. I didn't think anyone read that!

Anyway, it's in the works, and I'll update you further when i have a final date.

As for next month, there are two FBI books coming--back to back. You're getting over a thousand pages in two days. I hope you enjoy the Lyzee flashback to her early days. I had so much fun writing it, and my team loved it! After you get Past will Haunt, two days later, you'll get Choices will Destroy. We'll move back to present time and the Blackhawks will be dealing with the consequences of Elizabeth's choice to take the life of the Irish Butcher.

FBI Book 13

FBI Book 14
Feb 12th 2016

It's going to be a crazy ride! The killer is out to make her pay for her past. I will tell you that there is a twist at the end...
Then again, I usually have one.

I just finished writing Blood Shall Run, the 15th FBI book. It's coming out in June, and there will be a 16th FBI book this fall. I really had fun writing it, and I will admit that a lot of changes are coming for the family--Wyler will have something happening, Chris Leonard will too. The family is going to be starting anew.
That's all I can say!

You're getting 4 FBI books this year. As a reader, I hate having to wait 9 months to a year to get a new book in a series. So, I'm giving you as many as I can in 12 months. (Apparently, someone likes to break the rules! THIS GIRL!)

So many new things are coming!

If that's not enough change, the Croft series is coming to an end. But wait! That's not all! (It's starting to sound like an infomercial! lol)

There's a spin off for that series too. I'm taking the Crofts in a whole new direction. Yes, you read that right. I've killed off a few in the series, I've added more. I'm just stirring up the Croft pot.

Here's the cover...

August 2016

I wanted this series to be more of a throwback to Old Vegas, when men were men, women were women, and mobsters ran the city. After you read Justice is dead (Book 7) you'll see what I mean. I'm excited about this series.

Let's not forget the Littlemoons! They have two books coming out this year too!

April 2016
This one goes up for presale this week!

September 2016

I love the Littlemoons, and they are adding more characters to their team! I can't wait for you to meet them!

Let's not forget another Oracle book too! Oracle Seeing is arriving in July for your reading pleasure!

I'm so very excited about all of 2016!
I hope you will be too!

Back to work! If you have any questions, or just want to drop me a line, here's my email. Author.m.kelley@ gmail.com.  I do reply to each email.

Have a good weekend.
And as always, thank you for your reviews! Keep leaving them!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Oracle Rising Release!

It's a bright and early Friday, and I've just settled down to do some work at my desk, I'm neck deep in the next FBI book, Blood shall Run. I'm having fun with it in New Orleans, one of my favorite cities in the world. If I could to pick a place to live, it would be there.

It's the home to vampire lore, Voodoo, mysticism, creepiness, and general mayhem. You haven't lived until you've explored the Quarter, or popped into some shops that sell fun trinkets. Oh, and the cemeteries. They are gorgeous, hauntingly beautiful, and creepy as hell!

I do love a good scare.

Anyway, I'm just dropping in to tell you that Oracle Rising has risen. She's live. Avalon Miller is back, and after her 'death' in the last book in the Carter Chronicles, Sinner Reborn, we have the next chapter in her life. After all, she promised that if she could be free, she'd help people just like her.

Well, she's doing it.

In Case File One, you'll meet Juliett Deveraux. She's haunted by her gift. All she wants is to help people, but the only thing she's doing is watching them die. In her job, in her life, and in her dreams.
Enter in Rhett Longfellow, the sexy sheriff of the town where women are going up in flames. He's the strong silent type haunted by his own choices in life. When Juliett calls out for help, only one voice, other than the killer answers--Oracle.

They're in a race to save the woman, the other victims in the town, and to navigate their own angst. Oracle is getting more powerful. She's a psychic like none have ever seen before. Can they keep it under wraps? Can they keep her safe?

It's going to be a fun ride! I loved writing this book, and as the series continues, you're going to see the change in all of them. You can't be an off the charts psychic and not have to come to grips with that. Avalon is young, wise, and has a lot to learn about her, their job, and the man she's going to marry one day.

It's a fun ride. Toss in Sexy Nathaniel Carter, Maura Gaines-Mars, Lucas Mars, and Jagger Armstrong, and a couple appearances by the Blackhawks here and there, and you're going to have a read that goes bump in the night.

So, if you haven't ordered it, get it here. If you have preordered, it's on my Kindle, so it should be on yours.
Enjoy.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave a review. I know i keep asking, and i have to since it's what keeps me doing my job. I need to hear from you. Other readers need to hear from you. Amazon WILL NOT promote my books anymore if they drop below 25 reviews. The last two years worth of books are no longer being promoted thanks to their tougher policy on reviews. You don't have to give me a five star, four, or three. Be honest. I want to hear from you.

Have a great weekend.

Oh, and next stop?

You're getting a double dose of Elizabeth Blackhawk the second week of Feb. 1034 pages of fun.

Happy weekend!

In honor of me working on the next Blackhawk book..... Laissez le bon temps rouler!  Let the good times roll!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday!
I ate plenty, laughed lots, and made memories with my family. It was truly a blessed holiday for all of us here in Morganville.

But, like anything else, time goes on and there are books to release and write.

What's up?

Well, Oracle Rising is releasing in 4 days. On the 8th, it'll be available on Amazon here.
That's not all. In February, I'm releasing two FBI books back to back--within a day of each other. You can find them here and here.

Last but not least, for the cold winter months, how about some Greyson Croft to heat you up? The final book in the series is out this March, but fear not. There is a spin off coming in the fall. I promise.

Here is the link to preorder your copy.

As always, I hope you enjoy the books! Please leave a review, even if it's five words. Let me know how I'm doing, so I can keep making you happy!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

During this season, I want to tell you how blessed and grateful I am for all of you. Thank you for reading my books, leaving reviews, and contacting me with all your comments and questions. I love them! Thank you for being awesome fans, and I promise that next year, we're going to rock it out!
I have so much planned for you all. I hope you love every second of the ride!

We're starting with Oracle Rising, and we're ending with back to back vampyre books for the holiday. In between, Elizabeth and her team are about to embark on some of the toughest cases out there. So many new things are coming, and I hope you stick around to enjoy the adventure with me!

Thank you again,
Blessed holiday to all of you from my family.

New release today!

Morning!

I woke up to a new release, and by the time you read this, it should be available all over the world.
Today, Holiday Reinforcements~ behind closed doors is out!

It'll be a quick read with some fun stories from all your favorite characters.

There's all kinds of sexy fun going on in this book. Some big holidays, some small. You'll even get the ONE and ONLY sex scene between Dante and Steele.
Yep. As of this moment, it's the only time I'll go into details regarding their sex life. I've also placed it as the final story in the book, so if you don't like sexy man on man action, you can just stop at the previous story.

You can find it here for kindle.
The book should be available sometime today in paperback.

Enjoy the reading!!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Past will Haunt and Choices will Destroy

It's another Monday in Morganville.
As I was just getting started with work for the day, I received an email alerting me to two more books that are up for preorder. Books 13 and 14 of the FBI series are finished and going to be available in February.
You'll be able to reserve your copy for some Valentine's Day fun! They release Feb 11 and 12th. I am so excited for you to read this part of their story. Book 13, Past will Haunt is going back in time to when Elizabeth first starts out as a Fed. You'll get Gabe and Livy's story, or the beginning of it.

Then you'll flash back to the present day and get to see the ramifications of breaking the rules. When that line is crossed, seldom can you avoid the consequences. In book 14, Choices will Destroy, you'll see how even our most beloved heroine and heroes have to pay for their sins.
No one is above the law.

So, if you're interested, and curious about what big changes are coming, here are the two links to the Amazon pages where you can reserve your copies.
I hope you love them!!!!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, my American Friends, and as always, thank you for being awesome fans! Don't forget to leave a review for Slay Bells Ring, Hell is Burning, or Truth is Found! Feed an author!

Leave a review! I'm starving!!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan

TGIF!

Happy Friday!

Welcome to the weekend!
It's been a crazy week here as I prep for Morgan's Turkey Day bash, but I wanted to pop in and see how you all liked Slay Bells Ring.

Well?
Did you have as much fun reading it as I had writing it?
Without giving away too much, I have been asked a few times about Dakota. Will he show up again? Will he be around?

Likely.
I have a trilogy planned for him, and it involves Bonnie. If you've read the book, you know what I'm talking about. It won't be this year, or 2016, but you might see it in 2017. I've never written a book with the male as the main focus. Usually, it's the women who choose their amazing men, but I'm flipping the script on this one.

I hope you won't be disappointed.

Anyway, if you've read Slay Bells Ring, please pop on over to Amazon and leave a review.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013RBMU92

Believe it or not, each one matters. Over the last few books, I've seen some new people reviewing, and I am beyond grateful. If I've made you happy, drop me a couple words on Amazon. With their restructuring, they are making it harder for Authors to get reviews. I need to know if I'm doing well, or you want me to change something.

Plus, they don't promote an author until they get a certain amount of reviews. Good or bad. So please, take a few minutes, head on out, and tell me what you thought of Slay Bells Ring.

In about a week, February's books will be going up for preorder. There will be two FBI books released two days apart. I believe it will be Feb 10th and 12th. The first book, Past will Haunt, is going to be a flashback book. It takes place 15 years ago, when Elizabeth, Ethan, and Chris Leonard were just starting out. You'll meet a younger, less tough Gabriel Rothschild, and see how Livy bagged her big strong man.
You'll find out what happened with the Irish Butcher, and what Elizabeth did out of grief, pain, and for the love of friendship.
You'll find out why she and Chris Leonard are close.
You'll also meet Ethan, and watch him struggle to become the man he is today.

After all that, you'll flash back to the present with Choices will Destroy, and see what Elizabeth and Gabe's decision did to alter the future.
Will it cost them now?
Will they lose it all?

Also, big things are coming in the series. I can honestly say, it wasn't planned, but it happened during writing. The story tells itself, and this one was no different. I hope you enjoy it as much as Rachel and Laura did.
If you hate it... yell at them! LOL

Anyway, happy Friday, thank you for reading my books, and leave a review!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,
Morgan.

Slay Bells Ring!

Happy Holidays, everyone!

I know I'm a little bit early, but today kicks off my holiday season! Slay Bells Ring, my holiday book is here!
I love this time of the year.
I love it even more when I get to share a book with all of you. This year, it happens to be an FBI book.

We all know Elizabeth, Ethan, and Callen are near and dear to me, but I have to say that this book is special. It's kicking off the beginning of something new for the team. In February, there will be a two part book released.

Now, don't panic.

I didn't decide to switch over to some serial novel where I make you wait months to get resolution. Book 13, Past will Haunt is a flashback book. You're going to meet Elizabeth before Ethan, Ethan before Lyzee, and Gabe and Livy at the beginning.

We're going to revisit the case that made Elizabeth who she is today.
That's part 1. It's a little shorter than my normal books. I think it's around 450 pages, but together, i believe it's over 1000 pages.

Then, two days later, I'm releasing book 14, Choices will Destroy and you're going to come back to present time as all of their choices from 15 years ago come back to haunt them.

I can't say much, because it's hush hush, but there are BIG changes coming. I let the story tell itself, and this is the direction it took me. Like when Elizabeth decided to have Callen join their relationship, this felt right.
Now, don't worry.
It's not sex related. Elizabeth isn't picking up any more men, the men aren't getting any babes, it's simply a twist to the story that I felt was needed. It's a new day for the Blackhawks at the end of book 14.
Life.
Death.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

If you haven't gotten your copy of Slay Bells Ring, it's right here!

I hope you enjoy it, and as always..

Happy Holidays!
Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

PS. Love your author. Leave a review to keep me working. :)

Oracle Rising is available for pre-order

Morning all!

Happy Saturday!
I hope you're enjoying your weekend!
I'm up early (gotta love 2 am) to get some work done to finish up the next Littlemoon book, Haven of Nightmares, and i checked my email.
What do I find?

It appears that Oracle Rising is now available for pre-order for January. You can find it here on Amazon.
When it releases, I hope you enjoy it. I loved continuing the story of Avalon, Nathaniel Carter, and the team.
You're going to go on the adventure with them as Avalon keeps her promise. She's seeking out people like her to help them.

I promise you won't be disappointed.

Have a really great weekend!
Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Thursday, October 22, 2015

Hey all!

Just stopping in to update you on what's happening in Morgan's world.

I'm almost 2/3 of the way through the next Littlemoon book, and I'm enjoying it! It's always fun to switch it up between books and heroines. You have Elizabeth Blackhawk, who is very in your face, and then Emma Croft, who is all about her man. Then you pop into Tori Littlemoon's world, and you have that tough woman on the outside, but that vulnerability inside.

It's non-stop fun.

I truly love my job and am blessed.

So, what's going on in the Morgan front? Well, today I was approached by a publisher, asking to carry my books. They made me promises of increased sales, more people recognizing my name, and an a team of people to help with my books. They wanted to rebrand me, make me important, and help me reach my potential.

I turned them down.
I think, that in this day and age, with so many Indie authors out there, they expected me to jump on the bandwagon.
Well, that's first and foremost, not my style.
Secondly, I don't do this for the money. I do it because i believe everyone has that one thing they're good at, and mine is storytelling.
Lastly, what turned me off so much is how they said I would make more money.

How? By jacking up my prices from 3.99 to 9.99 a book.
They would then take their percent off the top, and i would get rich.

No thank you.

I don't do this to get rich. I know i keep saying this, and it's like the more i put it out there, the more the universe tries to test me. Plain and simple, I do this because the voices in my head need their story to be told. I'm a firm believer that I'd rather have enough to get by than more than i need with all the problems that go with it.

Somethings matter more than money.
Like people.

Speaking of which...

I have an excellent team. Rachel is funny, she keeps me grounded, and she's become more than someone who reads my work. She's my friend.
I feel the same about Laura. She's smart, sweet, and a genuinely good person. In a world where people will sell you out, I'd rather have people i like working with me than money. I have a roof over my head, a vehicle that runs, my family is healthy, and i am happy.

Too many times, authors sell their souls for a price that's going to cost them more in the end. This is a tough gig, and to survive in the book market, you have to have a thick skin, know who to trust, and keep writing.

So, know that i appreciate each and every one of you.
I love your dedication and how you are my fan base. I wouldn't trade you for a six figure book deal, or some flashy title on my book covers. No, I'm not a NYTimes best selling author, and one day...who knows. I may meet that milestone too, but for now...

Amazon Best seller will have to do.

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

It's Monday again!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

I enjoyed the fall weather and worked on some home renovations, but now it's time to get back to the grind.

I start writing the final Croft book later this week. Justice is Dead is going to wrap up the Croft and Croft series. I'm going to spin it off to the Dark Justice series. Don't panic.
I promise Greyson, Emma, Curtis, and some of the other characters will be moving to a new series. None of them are dying.
(I've had emails with panicked readers.)

I've opted to put a spin on this series. The Crofts are now the most powerful people in the city. What will they do with that power?
Can Greyson stay sterling, or is the saying true?

Absolute power corrupts absolutely?

We will find out.
The final book will tie up all the loose ends, answer the questions, and get you ready for a different kind of justice.

I promise you'll enjoy it. He's still going to be up to his Croft-y antics, and so will his family.

Buckle up. When Croft and Dimitri Gideon team up, Vegas will never be the same again.

I've gotten so many emails from you, the readers, about Hell is Burning. I'm glad you loved it! Don't forget to leave a review!

By now you've read the Littlemoon book. I hope Truth is Found made you laugh, cry, yell, and feel a million emotions. I love writing those books because they're fun. In fact, the next book, Haven of Nightmares, is on my schedule for the end of this month. I'll be writing it for Halloween.

We're going to meet more of Mr. Remmington and learn his back story. I can't wait! We know he doesn't have a gift or does he???????

We'll find out.

If possible, pop on over to Amazon and leave a review for Truth is Found! Amazon won't promote, and most blog tour companies won't either, without a minimum of reviews!

Have a great month of October!
I'll check in for Halloween (If i finish the book!)

Much love, mayhem,and murder.

Morgan.

Happy Friday!!!

Morning all!

It's been a crazy month since the last book released, and I'm popping in to give you all an update in what's coming soon!

Next Friday, there will be another release. The next Littlemoon book, Truth is Found is releasing. We're going to find out how life has changed after the accident, who was hurt, and also what Tori's life is like now with Bethany haunting her head.

We're also going to meet Nyx Nightingale. She's going to be important to the book, and also to Beau Christensen. I can't wait for you to read their story.

Also, Next month, Slay Bells Ring, the 12th book in the FBI series is releasing. I opted to release it for November because I know how busy we all get in December. It's going to be the changing point in the series. When you read it, it's going to set the stage for the double book in February. After book 14, everything is going to change.

Now, don't worry. I didn't kill any of the main characters off, but I am turning the world upside down and making a big change in the books. I felt that after 14 books, I needed to. I want you to always enjoy the books, and this is going to keep them fresh and fun. Plus, everyone always asks for Gabe and Livy's story.
Well...ask and you shall receive!
Books 13 and 14 are all theirs.

I hope you love them as much as I do!

If you haven't preordered, here are the links. Next month, Oracle will be available for release in January!

Happy Friday!

Good morning!
I hope you are all having a great week!
TGIF!
I'll be working all weekend, but I hope everyone who is off can get some fun in and enjoy the beautiful fall weather!

I also hope that everyone has enjoyed Hell is Burning.
Did I surprise and catch you all off guard by chapter one? I hope so! I had so much fun writing that book. I gasped, laughed, and cried--a lot. It was one heck of a ride.

I've gotten some great feedback in the way of reviews and emails. I'm glad you all liked it. I can't promise that no one else is dying in the last book of the series. I will say that the main characters will be moving on to the next book.

Who do I consider main characters?
Emma
Greyson
Curtis
Chris Ford
Dimitri
and Dante.

Rest assured, they are safe. As for the rest...I can't answer that because i haven't written the book yet. There is one more character that may go, but I won't know that until later when I'm working on the story.
So, we'll all have to wait and see :)

The next Littlemoon book is coming out the first Friday of October, and the next FBI book will be out the first week of November--just in time for Christmas. So, be ready!
They're available for presale, so get your copies today.

If you haven't left a review, please do! I love hearing how I've done!

Happy Weekend!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Hell is Burning

Morning all!

Today is the day!
The second to the last book in the Croft & Croft series is here!

I know I've received a lot of emails and comments about what happens next, and you're about to find out.
In Heaven is Weeping, we left Greyson in a mess. His inner circle was falling apart, Randall Mason was dead, and Dominic Marianna wanted his head on a silver platter.
Curtis left.

It shocked all of you, and now you're going to see the fall out over the next two books. In Hell is Burning, you'll see the personal mayhem that Greyson's choices has caused.

In Justice is Dead (Out next year) you'll see the conclusion of this journey. Fear not! It won't be over. Greyson and Emma have a long story to tell, but they needed a little change of venue.

Well, it's coming.

I hope you all enjoy the story, and buckle up. It's going to be one hell of a ride from here on out. Trust me.
You didn't see this coming...

Much love, mayhem, and murder...

Morgan.

PS. Please don't forget to leave a review. I need them in order to do my job. :)

Monday, August 31, 2015

Happy Monday!

Hello, Everyone!
Sorry that I've been MIA, but I'm technically still on vacation :) I wrapped the last two FBI Books, and I'm getting ready for the kiddos to start school tomorrow. As you can imagine, it's chaos here. Cyber school is very time consuming, especially when you have a 6 year old. My daughter, who is 13, rocks it out on her own. Alex is a whole other story.

But enough about me!

There's a Croft book coming Friday! YAY! I hope you're excited. I know I am!
It's the prequel to the final book in the series. In it, I'm going to answer a lot of questions, and the Crofts are going to find out who the corrupter is :)
I can't wait!

So, make sure you grab your copy! I'll post the links here on Friday for anyone who has not preordered their copy.

Also, Dangerous Retaliation released last month. Thank you so much for making it a success! If it's not too much trouble, can you leave a review? I know more than 2 of you read it, but that's all the reviews it's gotten. If i don't get more, i have to assume you hate the series, and I'm going to end it. With all the books i release a year, i can drop two from the rotation if my readers aren't interested in it. Your reviews are the only way I know how you feel.

So,.. can you pop out to amazon and help an Indie out?

SO much is coming in the next few months!

September is-- Hell is Burning
October is --Truth is Found
November is -- Slay Bells Ring (book 12 in the FBI series)
December is -- The final Anthology-Holiday Reinforcements
January is-- Oracle Rising
February is-- Past will Haunt & a second book Choices will Destroy (900+ FBI pages)

They're all done, edited, and ready to go. So, you've got some reading (and reviewing) to do! Starting tomorrow, I'm back to work, and I'll be working on the final Croft book-- Justice is Dead  I can promise it's going to be explosive, Greyson Croft is going to blow Vegas up.

It's going to be epic :)

Well, have a great work week!

Truth is Found

Morning all!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been buried in work. I'm getting ready to wrap up my work year in August, so I've had to keep my nose to the grindstone.
So much is going on, but one of the most exciting things is that Truth is Found is available for preorder. It's releasing on October 2, and you'll have the opportunity to preorder here

I enjoyed this book a lot. I laughed so much as I was writing it. Julian and Bethany crack me up! If you read the synopsis on Amazon, it does give away some hint of what's coming. In Unthinkable Games, it ended with Julian getting a call about Tori and the ladies in a car accident.

I hated leaving you all in a cliffhanger, so I've teased the outcome in the next book synopsis. You'll know what happened before you even read the book. If you don't want to know, don't read the details on the Amazon page.

I hope you enjoy it!!!

August is about here, and that means the next vampyre book will be released soon. I hope you enjoy it!!! Dangerous Retaliation is heading your way!

Have a great week!

Email me your questions or comments! I will reply!

Hello, Friday!

Another week is wrapped!
It's been a crazy one. I've just started working on book 13 in the FBI series, Past will Haunt, and it's going to be fun. It's going to be a smaller book, and we're going back in time to see how Elizabeth gets her start. We'll watch Livy Spencer and Gabriel Rothschild start their story.

THEN...

We're going back to present day in book 14, Choices will Destroy.
If you've read the FBI series, you know that in book three, Elizabeth admits to her husband that she's killed someone. The Irish Boston Butcher was the case, and Livy was the prey. It's always been the stain on her life, and we're going to watch it unfold.

Apparently, he's back, and he's got a score to settle, but how?
She killed him.
Didn't she?
Now no one is safe, including Livy and Gabe.

Buckle up! It's going to be one heck of a ride.
Everyone always emails me, begging for Gabe's story. They want to know all about him, his life, and how it started, so here it is. You've got to be wondering how I'm doing a book about Livy and Gabe, and not including Elizabeth and Ethan fifteen years ago.
Well, they're in there too.

It'll be fun to watch them just miss each other, time after time, him catching a whiff of her perfume, seeing his handwriting, and never knowing that in about ten years, they're going to meet. He's just starting out as a profiler, and she's building her bad-ass rep as a balls to the walls investigator.

You're also going to find out why Elizabeth and Christopher Leonard are so close. We're going to meet the doctor before he was the best in the business, when he was just starting out. Their lives, as we know them, are just beginning in the FBI. You'll see him at his most vulnerable, and as he decides if this job is really meant for him.

It's going to be fun.

So, I hope you're going to be ready this Valentine's Day. You're getting two FBI books a day apart. The first book is going to be a little shorter, and more to catch everyone up for book 14. I promise it will have excitement, laughter, and answer all the questions i left hanging.

I can't wait!

Happy Friday, all!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.
