Happy Mother's Day weekend!

I hope all the moms have a great weekend!
I'll be working, but I've already submitted my list of 'wants' to my husband.
Like:
Someone to make me coffee.
The towels to be folded.
The kids to clean their rooms.
No one to ask me where the ______________ is located.

You know, the normal mother things that we all want.
Today, I also want to say thank you to my mother. She's a feisty woman of 64 and a really awesome person. She raised me and my two sisters to be tough, independent women. She forgo her career to be a stay at home mom, and it made all the difference in our lives. (I apparently was a handful hahahahah)
Thank you, Mom, for giving up your dreams to make sure we could live ours. You raised three productive members of society who are all doing well.
Words will never be enough.
I love you.

I've been getting some emails lately  as to my health. Yes, I'm not feeling so well. I don't tend to talk about my personal life too much, but I'll address it here on my blog. I'm having gallbladder issues, and have gone partially blind in my right eye. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. My doctor found two arteries in my eye that have had blockages, so I won't ever get my vision back. This sent all my doctors on a free-for-all to figure out what's wrong with me. I've had scans, echos, blood work, you name it, and in the last two weeks I've been through it all. The end result?
I'm a nervous wreck. LOL

My Cholesterol is 150
My triglycerides are 49
and I run 2 miles a day.
They're befuddled, and I'm so over it.
Once my Gallbladder is out (hopefully this summer) I'll be fine. Meanwhile, the doctors are driving me bat shit insane. Picture Elizabeth Blackhawk in a doctor's office. I've had a few moments like that the last few weeks.
It wasn't pretty.... for them.
Now, fear not. I'm well enough to work. Just sit back, enjoy the books and don't worry. I got this.

Lost & Broken is out this week and I hope you love it. It was fun to write! Right after it, you'll get back to back vampyre books. Dangerous Revelations and Dangerous Choices.
If you're not into vamp books, but you enjoy my novels, give them a shot. Trust me, I like to throw in a little whodunit there too.

Again, thank you for your concerned emails and I hope you all have a happy Mother's Day!
I know I will!
