What's coming this year? A recap.

Happy Post Holidays,

and I hope you've all had an amazing end of year with peace, joy, and friends and family. I, myself, spent it with the kids, hubby, and dog. So, it was absolutely perfect. We tucked into being home, and settled in for a long winter's nap.

By nap, I mean eating Christmas cookies, and pretending the treadmill and bike had gone on vacation far, far away.

What a great time of the year it is when everything renews, begins again, and resets. Sometimes, we all need that reset.

Here's a recap of my year.

I had spinal fusion in Feb, and it has been a long recovery. After fifteen years of sitting (a lot) to write books, edit books, and work on all the other fun that goes along with my job, it took a toll on my body. The previous two years, I had to have both knees repaired (Thanks college sports and running. You did me dirty). This past year, I was faced with giving up doing what I love, or having a major surgery that might also make me give up what I love.

So, under the knife I went, and let's just say it wasn't fun. The first week of spinal fusion at multiple levels is very humbling. I have a super high pain tolerance, and it tested everything in me. I birthed a monster baby at 11 lbs with no meds, I survived kidney stones without even flinching, but that first week of back fusion recovery...

Let's just say it nearly won.

Almost 10 months later, I'm back, and ready to sit my ass in my favorite chair, and give you guys one hell of ride. So, this year is going to be fun. We're starting off with back-to-back FBI books, a bunch of weddings, and then some Hunters. That's going to take us to summer, where you know I'm going to drop more FBI.

After that, we have the return of Oracle for a one time appearance. The book will be tied to the Littlemoon series, since it might confuse people who read series by series. After Oracle graces us with her appearance, and the Littlemoons recover from the death of one of their own, we're getting the conclusion to the haunted castle series. We get to see Elizabeth at the castle dealing with all the things that go bump in the night.

By then, Halloween is approaching, and once more, we have another FBI book, but this one will have a twist. I've always wondered if the men could hold their own if Elizabeth wasn't driving the bus. I guess we'll find out. For those wondering where Elizabeth is...I guess you'll have to wait and find out.

After Halloween, we're going to saddle back up with Greyson Croft. I've gotten a few messages and emails asking if they were coming back.

Yes.

The reason for the two years off? Well, timelines have to line up, and something in the FBI flashbacks has to align in order for Greyson to meet his next bad guy--the one who wants him dead, and just might succeed too.

After Greyson deals with a mess in Boston, cleaning up after a Russian debacle, we're getting the next antiquities book. This time, Flynn and his family are going to have to take on one of their own, and it might just break them all apart. We're going to meet the Scorpion, and let's just say Greyson is in for a rough one.

Coming in 2027 is a new Cozy mystery series, picking up with two of my favorite people. Gabby and Finn. If you've read the Haunted Castle series, The Ravensmire Chronicles, you know who they are. When I finished writing the 4 book series, it didn't feel finished. It felt like Gabby had more adventures, and I love a challenge. When someone asked if I could write a series without sex and erotica, I was up for the challenge.

So, that will be heading your way too.

There is so much coming, and I hope that you'll stay on the journey with me for another year. It wouldn't be the same without you.

Thank you for giving me the best job in the whole world.

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

(And her team. Isabella, Rachel, and Janean.)
