Someone left a message about the order to read my books, and it never even occured to me to put the timeline down for you. The series can be read one at a time, or you can mix them together at certain points.
I'll post my reply to the message, so you can see where you can add the other series in.

I hope this helps. They don't have to be read in this order. You can read one whole series, and then the next, as long as you read the FBI series first. That's the back bone of all my books :)

Thanks for the post, but I was looking for something a little more specific. The books in the Croft, Littlemoon and Carter series happen intertwined with the FBI story. For example, there is a reference in one of the Croft books to Ethan's recent abductions. In your post, you put Croft after Pledging to Die, but we know it comes much ealier. I was looking for a more detailed book by book timeline. Again - LOVE YOUR WORK.
ReplyDeleteI realized that you wanted a more specific timeline, but I can't be more specific than I was for a few reasons. The above list is a basic guideline. There simply isn't a more detailed list. In order to give it to you, I'd have to reread all the books and plug them in. For example, I know the LIttlemoons come after Darkness of Truth, but I can't tell you more than that. I haven't read Darkness of Truth in 2 years. I know the basics, but I'm writing 1.6 million words a year, and I'm about 9 months ahead of you, and two to three books ahead of each series. The details like where some of the characters pop up don't stick with me this many books into it.

The list above is where I would safely place the other stories. Personally, if i were to read the series, i'd read all of the FBI, then the Croft, then the Carter, then the littlemoon. They weren't really written to be read mixed up. Yes, they are mentioned, but none of the books are that deeply crossed into each other, where you have to read them in tandem. Some of my fans don't read the FBI series. They don't like the M/F/M relationship, so I don't mix them up.
