BRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hi all!
Preparing for the next winter storm to hit. Gotta love winter...
It's been a busy couple of days here, so I apologize for not blogging sooner. I'm in the midst of balancing a few books still, cramming to get them all to the editor and proofer before I get backlogged.
I'm happy to say that I have Sinner Repent on my desk waiting for the final read through. Dangerous Revelations (book 1) In the Harcourte Vampyre society has been shipped for a final read through and should be here by Monday.
On top of that, I just sent the first twenty three chapters of Lost & Broken to editing and as they come back one chapter at a time, they go off to proofing.
Friday I begin adding details to Love is Bleeding ,and finish up the last four stories in the anthology, Illegal Fantasies~ Behind Closed Doors.
Then...
THEN...
I start writing the next FBI book, Redemption is Here. Now, if you've finished Consumed by Wrath, then you know we're going to be dealing with mummies. Yes, you read that right! How you ask?
Well, all I can tell you is that in the beginning of this book, we're going to see more of Callen and Elizabeth, only because he was a little neglected in book 8. He needs his Lyzee time, and that's going to be one of the focuses.
Oh, don't worry! Ethan will be there too, but the first couple of chapters its Callen and Lyzee flying solo. I have some things to work on with their relationship. We're going deep into his past to answer some questions that I get emailed to me.

Like this one...

Morgan,
Oh, my God! I just finished Consumed by Wrath, and it was unbelievable. I wept, I laughed, and I couldn't believe that it flew by. How are you going to top it? I did have one question. Callen and hot wax... why did you go there?
Debs

You're not the only person to ask me that. A couple readers pointed out that because Callen was burned as a child, he may not be turned on by hot wax. We'll I definitely see your point, and I did mull this around a while. Unfortunately, I went with the wax for a few reasons. What I wanted to do was a little too Xrated, and some of my readers are maxed out with the sex scenes, so I had to keep them in mind. Next, I wanted to bring everyone's attention to the situation. In the next book, we're going to go deeper into his pain and childhood. We know his mother was a waste, but we're going to find how horrible she really was.
It's going to bring to light what lives in Callen, and why he sometimes is so afraid.
BUT don't worry. Weak, whiny Callen isn't coming back. He's just going to open up to the woman he loves, and let her heal him even more.

Morgan,
I've read on some other blogs that you're going to publish erotica. Really? Isn't that going to be hard when your really good at fleshing out a deep storyline?
Cynthia

Actually, it's not. These are little snippets that may have appeared in a story. In each book, I like to give you a look into their personal lives, like Christmas morning, a party, etc. With Native Dalliance, the first story in the anthology, we see Ethan, Callen and Elizabeth at their finest. Often, I mention 'ravage the savage' being Lyzee's biggest fantasy. BUT what happens if the men in her life decide to reverse the tables?
What if, they decide to give Elizabeth a night she won't ever forget.

Then, there's Emma's HS reunion. Greyson takes her back east, but they find that you can't always go home and be comfortable with it, especially if you're a caveman with a smoking hot cave babe. So, for readers who know the stories, the anthology will be like icing on the cake. For people who just pick it up as erotica shorts, they'll still enjoy them, but won't truly appreciate it unless they research who all these characters are.

Morgan,
On Facebook, I saw that you were thinking of ending the FBI series! WHY???
Susan.

Well, that's not entirely correct. I said that if the reviews didn't pick up, I may have to end it. I can only carry so many series. Right now I have 4 series and one trilogy. It's a lot of work to balance all those different characters. I think this year you're getting 10 full mega novels and 2 anthologies. That's 12 releases in 12 months.
If I can't tell how you feel about a book, I won't carry it past book 10. So, if you love it, leave a review for it. If you only like it, same goes. I can't do my job unless you direct me.
So, get to leading!!!!

Okay, back to work!
I hope you all have a great night! If you're getting buried in snow, stay safe and warm!

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

Sexy little shorts

Well, as promised, here's the covers for the new anthologies. So far, there's three.
Will there be more?
Maybe.
I'm guessing that's going to be up to you guys.
If you fall in love with them and want more, I'll make it happen. You know I live to please!

Well, here they are...

What do you think?

Remember, these aren't full stories, but short little anthologies with all your favorite characters. Elizabeth, Ethan and Callen
Emma and Greyson
Tori and Julian
Vivian and Justin
Callista and Quinton
Jolie, Jacques, and Flynn
If you want just sexy little shorts, these books are for you.

Book one
August 2014

Book two
December 2014

Book three
February 2015

I hope you enjoy them when they come out, and remember, they're basically erotica. I get asked a lot about how far the characters go in the bedroom, and do I pull some of the sexiness out.
Yeah, I do.
Not everyone likes sex. (I can't believe I just wrote that down...)
For those who are curious, I'm putting it out there. If you don't like sex scenes, PLEASE don't buy this book. It's going to be marketed as erotica, so as with most of my books, read at your own risk.

Now, for those of you asking 'who the heck is Callista Carter and Jolie Harcourte'?
Fear not. Their books come out before these anthologies.

Sinner Repent (book 1)- March
Dangerous Revelations (book 1) June
Dangerous Choices (book 2) August 1 st

You'll have plenty of time to read them before the sex fest begins.

Have a really great day!
Drop me a message and let me know how you like the covers, and keep reviewing!!!!!

Much Love, Mayhem, and in the case of these books, kinkiness!

Morgan.

Monday once more...

Hi all! My book covers for the Carter Chronicles trilogy are done! Thank you, Laura Gordon for getting them finished so fast!

I love them!

I also uploaded them for all of you to see! Go to the tab for the Carter Chronicles and check them out!
I hope you all love the first book! It's coming soon! March! YAY! I can't wait for you all to get the back story on Doctor Callista Carter-Gaines. You'll recall her from Consumed by Wrath, as Ethan's doctor.

Speaking of Consumed by Wrath, I've received a few emails addressing the Valentine's Day sex scene, you know the part... Specifically, Callen's fantasy. A few of my readers were concerned that maybe him being burned as a child by his mother's boyfriend would turn him off to something like hot wax.
I absolutely see where you are heading with that, and I went there too when I wrote that scene. I will say that I mulled it over, pondered it, and worried if it would come across as the opposite of what I  wanted.
Well, I ended up going with the hot wax, despite all of my worries. Why? It's a bridge to the next book, Redemption is Here. In that book, we're going to learn more about Callen's abuse, what secrets he's carrying and possibly meet the man responsible for hurting him as a child.
When you're abused as a child, you carry life long scars, and Callen is no different. Please don't worry. I don't plan on reverting him back to 'whiny' Callen, but Elizabeth deserves to know what lives inside him, even if she already suspects it.
Callen was at ease with his sexual fantasy because he trusted Elizabeth with it. I think that for this book, you'll just have to start there and know it'll be addressed down the road.

So, bear with me.

Once more, I want to thank you for your reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. If I want to be able to offer pre-order books on amazon, I need to get as many reviews as possible. They need to see my loyal fans following along, so if you haven't reviewed all the books, please do!
You could be the one person that makes the difference for another reader on the fence!

If you're on Facebook, find me, like my author page (Author Morgan Kelley) and then even friend me. I do converse with my readers all the time, and share a more personal look into my life! (Beware LOL You never know what will come out of my mouth...)

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

Happy Sunday!

I hope you're all doing well!
I know I've been MIA for a week, but it wasn't intentional. I'm balancing four books now at once, and it's been quite the juggling act.
Sinner Repent (book 1) is waiting for my final read through.
Dangerous Revelations (book 1) is being edited and corrections are in tonight.
Dangerous Choices (book 2) is halfway done. I'm adding details to it before it goes off to editing, and last, but not least, I'm getting ready to do my read through before Lost & Broken (book 2) in the Littlemoon series goes off to editing.

It's chaos here!
I'm rushing around to get the next 6 months locked down. Here's what it's looking like.
February- nada. I released Consumed by Wrath early for you all, so I get a month without a book release.
March is Sinner Repent.
April is Love is Bleeding (Book 4) Croft & Croft
May- is Lost & Broken (book 2)
June is going to be Dangerous Revelations (book 1)
July is going to be Dangerous Choices (Book 2) ~ Yes, I'm giving you the first two books in a series back to back. That's how much I believe you'll love them.
August will be Redemption is Here (book 9) FBI series, and the anthology Illegal Fantasies~ Behind Closed Doors
September is likely going to be Heaven is Weeping (book 5) in the Croft Series.
October I'm aiming for Unspeakable Games (book 3) Littlemoon series
November will be Sinner revealed (book 2) The Carter Chronicles Trilogy.
Then nothing until Jan or Feb 2015
All of that is scheduled to change, if I lose a finger, or have a mental breakdown in the process. One never knows!

Now, onward. I have a promo tour kicking off this week. Tomorrow, I'll post the sites that will be promoting Blood Red Rage. I hope they loved it as much as you all did! Thank you for your reviews and keep them coming!!! I know more than 3 of you read Consumed by Wrath.
What are you waiting for?
I swear, I'm calling Lyzee!!!!!

Have a good day!
Much Love, Mayhem and Murder,

Morgan.

Sunday, January 19, 2014

Good Morning!

I woke up today to my first review of Consumed by Wrath and it made my day. For me, the only way I can tell if I'm doing a good job is if you post a review.
(Well, that and the emails you send me!)
I can't express my gratitude enough that you take the time to assure that i'll be able to keep writing in the future. I don't do it for money, or glory.
I do it because I love to tell a story.

This is who I am.
When you look deep into my life, I'm a bard at heart. Like Greyson, I was born in the wrong time. I would have loved nothing more than entertaining the king and his court with fanciful stories and tales.
Thank you for letting me live the dream.
I appreciate it so much.

Please, post a review. I know you may think that it doesn't matter, but it does. It matters to me. I love to know how you feel. Did I make you laugh, cry, or get angry?
Did I twang your heart strings?
Am I fighting hard to get these books out there for no reason?
I have a million questions that only you can answer.

Your reviews matter more than anything else.
Do I keep the story going?
Or do I wrap it up at book 10?

I need to know.
The publisher needs to know.
Please post a review so I can continue to give you the stories locked in my head. That review opens the next locked door, and keeps the stories coming. Not just for the new book, but the whole series. If you've read any of my works, please go back and post so other's can read your words.

Words have so much power.
They can build up or tear down.
I need your help. If you don't like the book, post it.
If you love it.
Post it.
Please help me keep all the characters you've come to love coming.

Thank you for your support and kind words.

I love you all for it.

I hope you enjoy!
Don't forget to leave a review!

MK.

In honor of....

Okay, so none of us can escape the hands of time. I get that. SO, why let age bother us? I'm not going to. For months, I've been dreading the big 4-0. We'll today, instead of sweating the number, I'm going to celebrate.

With what?
Oh, with a little Blackhawk love fest. What says 'Happy Birthday' better than the next Ethan and Callen book?
So, for all you, my most favorite people in the world, I'm going to give you a gift.

Today, I'm releasing Consumed by Wrath (Book 8) early. I could have held it until when the publisher wanted, but you know what? 40 deserves a kick ass celebration, and if I were Lyzee (God, do I ever!) I'd want to have a full blown birthday with two of the sexiest Natives this side of the FBI.
So, for you my friends, I'm giving you the gift that keeps on giving.

Book 8 is coming.
As soon as Amazon offers it (Likely later today or tonight) I'll post it here.

You all deserve a little Callen and Ethan on this snowy January day.

Well.
I aim to please.

(You can thank Rose and Leta for talking me into it!)

Here's to Birthdays.
Sexy Native men.
And Elizabeth Blackhawk!

May time never touch them.
May their stories fill your hearts.
And may 'The Girlfriend Code' reign supreme!

Keep checking back to see when it's available!
And, if you want to give me a present. Please leave a review after you read the book! I want to keep the series going, but I need you! After it's released, the books are in your hands.

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan

~Prologue~

He was a simple man.

There was no doubt that he liked the basic pleasures in life and could find happiness in the smallest things.

What gave him the greatest joy was a freezer full of meat and a belly that was full of food at the end of a long day.

Who didn't like that?

In life, you had to take the small moments and cherish them as if they were your last. To some, a meal was never thought of more than a daily task, but to him it was an adventure.

Coming home to food was a luxury that he would never overlook or be ungrateful for. It meant too much to him on so many levels. Having the lingering scents of a home cooked meal assault you, as you walked in the door, was like that warm pair of socks that you slid into on a cold morning. Food offered you comfort and a peace of mind.

It gave you pleasure.

And most importantly, it sustained you.

When he first decided to consume human flesh, there had been some wariness. After all, there was nothing more taboo in the world of man. Eating another person was just wrong.

Wasn’t it?

Then, he had his first taste and all the preconceived notions fell away and realization dawned.

It was fantastic!

At that initial bite, it coated his tongue like butter and gave him an endorphin rush. That moment alone, had cemented into his mind that he couldn’t live without it.

It became his obsession.

At first, the compulsion began to slowly grow. A whole body could last almost a year, as he peppered his hunting and grocery shopping with a human delicacy. Unfortunately, as his lust for flesh increased, so did his need to kill.

Something about it held him in its grips and controlled his every waking thought.

In all honesty, it turned his stomach to hear their pleas for mercy to be set free. When he tried to explain to them that he needed them to die so that he could have food, they always looked horrified. A part of him couldn’t blame them, and yet he wasn’t able to stop.

Eventually, he began rationalizing it away. To him, they were offering up the ultimate gift.

It was the same with beef or pork. The cow and pig were revered to him and almost sacred. Without them, there would be no steak or bacon. Well, to him, the victims were the same thing. Without human flesh, he would be missing his favorite meal.

Barbeque.

Whenever anyone tried his ‘secret’ recipe, they would ohhhh and awwww over it, and for good reason.

It was spectacular.

When he used any other flesh, it didn't taste the same. So, the sacrifice had to be made. He needed the succulent flesh to be that of a human. It was his undisclosed ingredient, and one that he could never go without.

Some might find it vile or revolting, but he found it to be a testament to his great strength. Not everyone could sit down and eat a friend. Eventually, logic prevailed and rules had to be established. Why hurt those he cared for? When he ‘shopped’ for his next meal, he only picked people who he didn't like.

It was logical, right?

Why eat your buddy, when you could eat the person who cut you off in traffic or made your life difficult that day? It was, after all, the final payback for being disrespectful or rude.

But now, he had a few problems.

The people who he had been taking were beginning to draw attention. Who knew that a few missing people a year would draw suspicion? He was careful to not leave evidence and to only pick the ones who really deserved it.

When no one missed that first man, he believed that he was in the clear.

Now, his freezer was almost empty, and he was addicted to the hunt.

It was becoming time once more to go out on the prowl and find the perfect person to give him what he needed.

What he deserved.

What he wanted.

What he craved.

For now, he needed to refill his stock of fresh meat in his freezer and his belly.

Part of him tried to rationalize with logic, warning him that he was going to get caught one day, but the piece that had become addicted to the meals was fighting back hard. The inner dialog battled back and forth, but ultimately the hunger overcame logic.

It always would for him.

He needed to work out a plan. He couldn’t just randomly pluck a person off the street. In case this person drew more suspicion, he needed to have a well thought out strategy. In time, the next meal had been planned. There was one person who came to mind, as he pondered the myriad of people who he could choose from.

This person wasn’t too fat.

He wasn’t too thin.

Fat equated to greasy meat, and that didn't sit well in his stomach. The heartburn was hell, let alone having to strip away all the subcutaneous fat before cooking.

It was disgusting.

There had to be balance. It was like the perfect recipe. If you didn't pay attention to the ingredients, you didn't get a delicious meal.

Quality mattered.

The meat on this man was relatively perfect. He wasn’t too muscle bound, and he wasn’t scrawny either. From experience, he knew that sinewy, stringy muscle didn't cook as well either. Even if you slow stewed it for hours, it wasn’t right.

The only thing that he had going against him was age. Most of the people who he brought to his kitchen were younger, but alas, he would give him a try. If worse came to worse, he would have to spend some time creatively tenderizing him before cooking. He had a meat mallet and plenty of elbow grease.

Then again, there wasn’t anything a stew couldn’t hide or make palatable, if served with a loaf of crusty bread. This man’s flesh wouldn’t go to waste.

Besides, he was poking around and asking too many questions. He was becoming the burr in his side. The man was apparently too nosey for his own good, and while he appreciated people who were thoughtful and intelligent, he didn't want his ruse to be discovered. While no one else had suspected anything, this man was digging into a past that he should simply let die.

Like his victims.

But no….

He just kept digging and that was a big problem. So, his fate was sealed. His body was next on the list to fill his freezer. He only prayed that he could get away with it. Hopefully, once this man went missing, the truth would be buried forever. This time, the police would remain clueless.

Then, he laughed at the absurdity of that statement.

Who the hell was he kidding?

The man who was now sheriff was nothing less than a complete and total idiot. How he had gotten the council to make him leader was a surprise. If they saw anything redeeming in his skills, they kept it a secret. No one believed the town to be safe under his watchful eyes.

If anything, he was a womanizer and not an officer of the law. Then, he pondered the situation at hand. Taking this particular man might work to his advantage after all. Since the man was clueless, why not head to the epicenter of the town and take what he so desired?

It should be easy.

Sitting down to the table, he stared at the last banquet he was going to have from the freezer stock. It did his heart good to see the fine meal that had come from his ingenuity. With a little spice and some TLC, the meat had become a masterpiece.

Maybe he needed to write his own cookbook.

‘One hundred and one ways to eat your fellow man.’

He found that outrageously funny, and who wouldn’t?

Taking his first bite, he savored the moment. Until he was able to get his hands on the next person, it would be plain old chicken for him.

God, he hated poultry and its flimsy flesh.

So, that meant working fast.

Time was of the essence in this situation. He wouldn’t be able to falter or dilly-dally. His daddy always taught him to grab the bull by the horns and take what you wanted, and he desired to have a full belly, and freezer, more than anything else in life.

Now, he was going to make his move.

It was time to bring home the bacon, so to speak.

Soon, it would be time to have a feast.

Salem

Sunday Night

Morgue

It just didn't make sense.

The more that he studied the autopsy reports, the more they looked wrong. In his heart, he knew that he had done each postmortem accurately. After all, he prided himself on years and years of practice, but he had to be missing something. His gut feeling was screaming that there was a big piece of the puzzle missing from this file.

He just didn't have a clue as to what that was.

When the bones were pulled from the river, he was more than just suspicious. What drew his attention to them were the markings that crisscrossed their surface. It was something that he had never encountered before, and he wasn’t sure if that was because he was from a small town, or if this was something new. Everyone around him was claiming that the cause was some sort of hungry animal, but his gut was telling him otherwise.

The teeth marks looked…

Human.

By no means was he an expert on anything like this, but he was a doctor and had been trained to think outside the box. God, what he wouldn’t give to have an anthropologist or specialist to have a second look. Their expertise could help him figure this out.

He was certain of it.

Leaning back in his chair, he stared at the photos of each bone. His lab staff had done a careful job of collecting all the evidence from the watery grave. But then again, he expected nothing less from them. Each one had been trained and worked under him for years. In a sense, he was their mentor in the world of death.

Yet, now he had to wonder if they had missed something. Could he have?

It wasn’t like they had a slew of killings or deaths in the town. It was, after all, Salem. Their tranquil little berg was known for being calm, backwoods, and relatively law abiding.

That’s why he loved it there and called it home.

Salem called to something deep down inside of his soul. For years, he thought about becoming a medical examiner in some big city, but that just never happened. Salem lured him in and made him content. The balance between the people and the peace was incredibly cathartic.

When you lived with death, you wanted as much harmony in the rest of your life as possible.

Staying for over fifty years was the best decision that he had ever made. He couldn’t imagine a single day outside of Salem. When life left him barren, home filled his soul. The relationships, which he had built over the years, gave him something that nothing else ever could.

Family.

When people would ask him when he was retiring, he had one simple answer. He would only call it quits when he was on his own slab for autopsy. Then, they would have to find someone to come in and do the exam.

He wouldn’t care at that point, but for now the idea that age was making him slow and sloppy only exacerbated his irritation. Looking around, Samuel Trudeaux took in the place that he called his second home. Granted, it wasn’t as exciting as some other morgues around the country, but in a sense it was all his. Each tool, machine, and piece of equipment was lovingly fought for and brought into that office by him.

Samuel had built the place from the ground up.

Literally.

When he first came out of medical school, he went home to be the ME and had to do battle to get the morgue built. Thanks to generous town folk, he was able to eventually get it done.

Now, it stood in its grandeur right beside the sheriff’s station. Like the morgue, he too was a monument in the town. One of the best things about living in Salem was that everyone knew your name. In a way, he had become a living legend there. So many of the townsfolk were in awe over what he did. Not many would willingly dig into the dead on a daily basis. When Samuel would walk down the street, the residents would call to him and greet him with nothing but kindness and friendship.

This town was as much a part of him, as he was the town.

Staring down at the reports, he couldn’t help but get that sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. Something was brewing there, and he had to be worried about it. What kind of citizen would he be if he let it slide, only because he was perplexed over it?

He took an oath and made a vow.

That mattered to him a great deal.

There had been only one other time where he was fearful like this, and it was when his best buddy, Charlie LaRue, had begun digging into a pair of suspicious deaths. Ultimately, they had cost him his life, but justice had been served in the end.

That was all that mattered.

And now, this was the same feeling bubbling in his belly. Charlie would tell him that if it felt off, it was. The man had been wise beyond his years, allowing his cop suspicion to lead the way, fuelled by his gut.

Now, it was his turn to do the same. Samuel couldn’t turn his back on this and feign ignorance. Duty was a calling, and he was an honorable man.

Yeah, something was definitely wrong.

He made notes in his files and tucked them safely back into his medical bag. For now, he would take them home and study them some more. If worse came to worse, he knew who he could send them over to and have her take a quick look. Charlie had once done the same, and she had been the salvation that Salem needed.

Elizabeth wouldn’t think that he was a crazy old man, losing touch with reality. In fact, she would most likely think the opposite.

She was just like her father, thankfully. It was apparently a genetic thing, and it led her down the path that she now traversed. There was pride there, as he thought about the young girl who grew into a fine woman. He was glad that he was able to have a part in her rearing. Like his job, it filled his heart and chased the emptiness away.

“We’re not done yet,” he stated, taking one last look at the final file. “I’m going to figure you out, if it’s the last thing that I do,” Doc Trudeaux said, as he snapped closed his medical bag and pulled on his coat.

Something ugly was brewing once more in Salem, and he was going to stop it.

This was his town, his place, and his people and as far as Samuel was concerned, he was going to help contain the sanctity of his home.

No one was going to tarnish it.

It wasn’t happening now or ever.

Samuel Trudeaux was taking a stand.

Even if it was the last thing he ever did….

New twist...

Evening all!

Today I was talked into doing something that I never thought I would do. You know how I allude to certain sex scenes in the books? Like Elizabeth promising the men cheerleader sex? Or the other teasing comments she makes?
Well, today I decided to release those sex scenes.
Yeah, you read that right.
In the next couple of months, I'll be compiling the sex scenes that 'hit the cutting room floor' because they were just too... risqué. provocative. Far too sexually graphic for my books.
(Yeah, picture that in your heads, kiddos.)

I guess they're more along the lines of erotica. The sex is more graphic, the language more crass, and the characters are in their glory.
Whether you're wild in bed like Elizabeth, or more laid back like Tori, I'm sure you want to see behind the closed doors. I know I do!
So, I'm giving you that chance.

I've created a nine chapter anthology, containing the hottest, most fantasy filled scenes that didn't make it into the books. The cover is being created, the work is being scheduled, and it will be on it's way.
There will be;
Emma & Greyson
Elizabeth, Ethan & Callen
Tori & Julian
Elizabeth & Callen
Callista & Quinn
Vivian & Justin
Cyra & Chris
Jolie & Jacques
Elizabeth & Ethan

No, it's not pivotal to the storylines, so you don't have to read them. But, you may want to. I mean, who doesn't want to know what Ethan, Callen and Lyzee have planned out? Or what hot fantasies are bouncing around in Emma's mind?
I think you'll enjoy it, and if you are at your max for the sex in my books, then please don't read it. I don't want anyone stepping outside their comfort zone and being uncomfortable. No worries, it won't be anything tasteless, just our couples being.... couples.

I hope you have a good night.
I need to get back to work. There is no rest for the wicked!

Much love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

Newest trailer for my FBI series!!!

The FBI series has got it's trailer! YAY! Thank You, Dark Phreak Arts!!! Great job as always!

You can view it here on YouTube.

I hope you enjoy it!

MK

Another week begins!

Good morning all!

I'm just working on some corrections back in for Sinner Repent, (book 1) of the Carter Chronicles, and thought I would pop in and see how you all were doing.

It was a busy weekend here.

Friday, I finished Love is Bleeding, and loved it. I'm thrilled it's done, and the story of Emma, Greyson, Tessa, and Paris has continued. I also tossed in some Curtis and Brynn, since I get lots of emails begging me to give them closure.

Well, I can tell you that happens in the next book, Heaven is Weeping (book 5) So, hang in there. It's coming. Love is Bleeding (book 4) will focus on Tessa and Paris (as well as Grey and Emma, of course!). I've also decided to have them run continually through the series. Without giving anything away, Paris and Tessa's story is too big for two books. So, if you loved them, you're going to continually see them along the journey. I love them, so it's an easy call for me.

Today, I begin the final ready through of Consumed by Wrath. It's going to be released at the end of the month. I'm thinking the 31st. I have a blog tour kicking off next month and a book promo slotted for the end of this month. So, it works out perfectly.

I hope you love it. It's Elizabeth at her finest. Later this week, I'll post the synopsis, and the following week the prologue, as I usually do. It's going to be a bumpy ride, so buckle in and be ready!!!!!

Later this week, I'll be starting to detail add Lost & Broken (book 2) in the Littlemoon series. I can't wait, since I haven't touched it since around Halloween. I love putting a book away for a couple of weeks before I work on it. It's like a brand new adventure for me.

I hope you all have a fabulous week!
Stay warm, keep reading, and don't forget to post your reviews!
I need them if I want to keep the series going!

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

Video Trailer for Blood Red Rage

Morning all! Here's the first look at my first trailer for my Littlemoon Series. As always, you get it first!
I hope you enjoy.
(It gives you hints to what's in Book 2-4)

You can also see it on Youtube here!

I can't wait until the other ones are done! YAY. Let me know what you think!

I'm off to finish Love is Bleeding (book 4) in the Croft & Croft series. It's wrapped tomorrow! Thank the book Gods!

Don't forget to leave reviews if you've enjoyed my books! Everyone counts! Spread the word so I can keep writing.

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,
Morgan.

Good morning from the land of Murder and Mayhem.

Happy Monday.
It's a dreary day here. But hey! At least it's not snow!
I've been up working on Love is Bleeding, and I'm happy to report that I've just started chapter 12. Today, I should wrap up that one and thirteen. Once I do, the book is 7 chapters from completion. YAY!
This week is chaos here. I have to do my final read through of Consumed by Wrath, there's a book tour and promo kicking off in the next couple of days/weeks. I have two books to do corrections on, and last, but not least it's my daughter's 12th birthday party this weekend.
CHAOS aplenty!

I wanted to thank you for all your emails regarding Blood Red Rage. I'm so pleased that you like it. Next week, it will be available on Nook too. One by one, all the books will begin appearing on there. By the end of March, everyone can enjoy Elizabeth, Emma, Callie, and Tori.
If you haven't left a review on Amazon or Goodreads, please do. It's super important in order to keep these series going. If I don't get feed back, I have to drop them and focus on something else.

For those of you emailing about my FB page, here is the link. Like me and follow me there. I also have a more private page, and if you friend request me, I will accept it.

Other good news! I'm in the process of getting book trailers done, so once I do, I'll post them here for all to see. I hope you like them.
I can't wait!!!!!

Off to work on chapters 12/13.
Wish me luck! There's some big changes in store for Emma, Greyson, Tessa, Paris, and even Curtis and Brynn.
Wooooooooo Hoooooooo!

Much Love, Mayhem and Murder,

Morgan.

Evening all!

Brrrrrrrrrrr from the Northeast. Holy cold! It's insane out there. My garden thermometer says we're at a blustery 4 degrees.
That's crazy!
Thank God I have an indoor job!
Keep warm everyone who has to be out there in this.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in before bed (Yes, I go to sleep early, since I start working at 2 am.) and tell you that I just hit the 40,000 word mark in Love is Bleeding (Book 4). What that means is that now I'm 1/3 of the way done with the book. Tomorrow starts day four of writing, and by the end of the weekend, I hope to have up to chapter 11 completed.

Then I want a nap...

Anyway, I got a really great questions today, and thought I'd post them.

Morgan,
HELP! I don't always have time to read your blog (don't hate me), and I sometimes miss when your books are coming out. Is there a mailing list?
Jessica.

Actually, there is. Since I'm contracted with Amazon (kindle) they offer that service to you the reader. If you go to any of my books, under the title is my name. If you run your mouse over it (yes, it has to be a desktop or laptop) up pops an option to be emailed when one of my books is being released.
Click it and voila! You are all set to go!

Morgan,
I have a Nook. Why aren't you available on that tablet? I have to steal my son's Ipad to read your books. He's not liking that at all.
Ronnie.

It's funny you should ask. As of March, my contract with Amazon is up. I'll be taking my books over to Nook too. Now, don't panic. You'll still be able to get me on Amazon, the only difference is if you're borrowing my books for free, it will be coming to an end. Sorry, but Amazon has a rule for it's authors that if you use that function on your books (KDP select) then you can't sell your books anywhere else during the contract period.
I'm trying to give all the Nook readers some equal love!

Morgan,
Are you really going to write an entire book from start to finish in one month? That's crazy.
Joleen.

I am well aware. Yes, I started Love is Bleeding on January 1st, and as mentioned above, i'm 1/3 of the way through it. Now, don't start worshipping at the temple of Morgan just yet. First off, my first draft book and final version are two very different things. My first draft has shortened sex scenes (I write them later.) and less details. I put them in on the first read through. Because I write and type so fast, I keep it simple. After completion next week, I'll put this book away for two weeks (I'll be working on book 2 in the Littlemoon series) and then go back to it. I'll do a read through and add details (About 60-80 pages worth), and then a final read through where I make sure the plot is where I want it and clear. Then, it's a book. So, writing is almost 4 weeks total if you add it all up.

Thank you for all your emails today. Leta, I did get yours! I love Paris and Tessa too. I hope you like the next book. I'm working on replying to all your emails, before bed.
I swear!

Have a good night!
Much love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

Happy New Year!

Afternoon all!

I'm just taking a break from writing to drop in and wish you a Happy 2014!
I hope the year is filled with lots of great things!

I'm day three into Love is Bleeding (Book 4) in the Croft & Croft series. I'm having a good time writing it, and hope you'll enjoy it. We're going to see what happens to Paris Archer and Tessa Brass. Will they be together?
Or will fate keep them apart?

Don't look at me! I haven't finished writing it yet. I was hoping you'd tell me!

Anyway, 36,000 words down in three days, and I'm ahead of schedule, so that makes me happy. I need to approve Consumed by Wrath for release. I can't wait to reread it. It's one of my favorites!

Off to get more work done!
Happy New Year and don't forget to leave reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. It's the only way I can keep writing books.

You don't want to see the story end do you?
Me either!

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.

Last minute changes.

Morning all!

Just stopping in from hiatus to give you an update.
I'm a big believer in dreams and their meanings. Maybe it's the Native in me or just my brain refusing to stop thinking for a single second. Either way, I try to listen to them as much as possible. So, as I was fast asleep last night, I had a dream where I changed the cover of my newest book. I can't explain why, but I had this overwhelming need to wake myself up and do just that.

So, there's a new cover for Consumed by Wrath (book 8). I hope you like it as much as I do. I'm hoping that it's the final cover, since the book releases in a few short weeks. If you head to the top of the blog, and select FBI series, it's in there. I'll be posting the prologue in a couple of weeks, so make sure you pop in or sign up to get my blog emailed to you.

Also, I'm beginning to write Love is Bleeding (Book 4) in the Croft & Croft series in two days. I'll be wrapping it up in time for my 40th birthday at the end of the month.
~~Gasp~~ It'll be a little present to me. There's nothing like finishing another book and taking a couple days off to celebrate.

Editing is finished on Consumed by Wrath, and right now it's in Rachel's hands for proofing. So far, it's had nothing but rave reviews. (Especially the Valentine's Day sex scene!)  I hope it makes you all laugh, cry, and giggle at Elizabeth's antics.

Off to start prepping for the next book!
Happy New Year everyone!

Much Love, Mayhem and Murder,
Morgan.

Happy Post Holiday!

Hi all!
Welcome to the other side of Christmas!
I hope you all had a great day!

I know I did!
After spoiling the kids and drinking way too much eggnog, I'm glad the holiday is over. I need a vacation from my vacation.
It's not pretty here at MK manor. There's chaos and mess and the normal mayhem. I will admit that one tree is down and the stockings are unhung.
I'm halfway there.

I'm still on hiatus, but I'll be going back to work on Love is Bleeding (Book 4) in the Croft & Croft Series starting on January 1st. I can't wait! I just figured out where I'm taking it, and can't wait to have it written and share it all with you.
I have a special love for Emma and Greyson. I love my caveman!

Consumed by Wrath is half done in editing and off being proofed at the same time. Yay to the team! It's due back by Sunday and will get it's final read through at the end of January.
I hope you're ready! It's emotional, fun, and typically Elizabeth, Ethan and Callen.
It makes me cry when I read it!
Oh, and laugh.
A lot!
You'll find out if Chris and Cyra make it to the altar, or Belladonna Leonard has her way and gets her son to call it all off...

I've also sent Dangerous Revelations (book 1) in the vampyre series off to be edited too. I added 200 + pages of details and story line. So, if you had it in paperback, it's pretty much a new book.
I've gotten emails from a few of you that have read the series. The big question is will it be completely different?
Yes and no.
I've added and changed things up, so if you read book 1-4, you won't be disappointed with the new releases. I promise!

Sinner Repent (Book 1) in the Carter Chronicles is also getting sent to editing this weekend. You'll get the first book in the trilogy before you know it!  I will say, it ties into the FBI series, much like the Littlemoon series does. You'll see the characters cross lines and appear in all the books. I like having FBI West be a big fun playground.

In Sinner Repent, you'll be getting the back story on Callista Carter. She's going to appear in Consumed by Wrath as Ethan Blackhawk's therapist after the abduction. So, you'll find out how she became part of their lives in her book.
I hope you love it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

At the end of January, Lost & Broken (Book 2) will be next on my list. It's written, but I need to tweak it and add some details. It's the second book in the Littlemoon series and has the paranormal ghost twist.
It's fun!

As always, I'll give you the scoop regarding the threesomes. Yes there is one in the vampyre series. No, there isn't one in the Littlemoon series, The Croft & Croft series, or the Carter Chronicles.
I know some of you don't like surprises.

I wish you all a happy and safe holiday season. I'll see you next year for more Love, Mayhem and Murder!

Much affection,

Morgan.
xx

Merry Christmas!!!

Happy Holidays!
I hope you all have a really blessed time with your families and loved ones!
Thank you for an amazing year. I'm very fortunate that I have been able to spend the last 365 days weaving tales to keep you all entertained.
I appreciate you all very much!

My fondest wish is that this is another spectacular year with me continuing on with the stories that have begun. I can't wait to give you more of Elizabeth's story, Emma's and Tori's too. Along with some new people thrown into the mix. We're going to meet Jolie, the undead, and also Callista Carter .
So many stories to tell, and so little time to tell it in.
I can't wait!

It's going to be a great year! I promise!!!!!

Happy holidays, season's greetings, and from my family to yours, Merry Christmas!

Much Love, Mayhem, and Murder,

Morgan.
