Hello! Hello!

Morning all!

I hope you're enjoying the newest FBI release! Thank you to everyone who leaves reviews. I greatly appreciate it. It's how I know if I'm doing my job, and how Amazon knows I'm doing my job. Each one is precious to me. The more reviews a book gets, the better chance there is of it being picked up for a TV series, a Netflix series, or the NYT bestseller list.

Those are on my bucket list. Who doesn't want to see Elizabeth come to life on TV? We all know that would be mayhem.

Anyway, A few of my readers asked for a more personal book about the Blackhawks. You know, more of their downtime, what they are like without the badges on, and I've found a way to do that.
Yes, ask and ye shall receive.
So, I added a book to next year's schedule. If you are an FBI fan, you're in luck. I'm going to be delivering a special Valentine's Day book just for you. It will still be the Blackhawks behaving badly, but with a twist.
I can't share the details, since I don't write it until September, but it's plotted out, and I love it already. I can't wait!!!
The cover just came back from being created, and here it is!

Valentine's Day 2018

Again, it's not going to be the normal FBI book. There will be none of the lab or forensics you've come to see in my other books. This is going to be a personal look into what happens when Elizabeth takes a holiday.
Can she?
Or will the normal antics ensue?

When you read Discarded by Fate in October, you'll understand why and how she's going to get away.

Next year will have 5 FBI books in the rotation. Will this be a constant? No. This extra book is a special treat for my readers from me to you.

Also, since some of you have asked, here is the latest book release order as follows.

Oracle Haunting (Oracle) July
Paid Justice (Croft) Aug
Wedding of our Dreams: Steele and Dante (Croft wedding Novella 1) Aug
Lost Souls (Littlemoon) Sept
Discarded by Fate (FBI) Oct
Atonement (Hunter Trilogy 1) November
It’s Good to be the Boss (Romance Anthology 1) surprise release
Dangerous Destruction (Harcourte) Dec
Dawn of Evil (FBI) Jan 2018 flashback 3
Dead are Forgotten (FBI) Jan 2018
Oracle Hunting (Oracle) Feb 2018
Love Knows No Bounds (FBI) Valentine’s Day 2018
True Justice (Croft/FBI crossover) March 2018
Found Curses (Littlemoon) April

Enjoy your day!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

MK

More goodness!

Hey! Happy weekend! I'm back to work, and I'm buried in book awesomeness! I'm detailing the 20th FBI book, and I can't wait until you get to read it in October!

Until then, I have a little more fun for you. The next Littlemoon book is out for preorder.

Lost Souls is now available here!

It'll be out September 8th!
I hope you like it! Here's what it's about...

Well, they’re back. The Littlemoons have returned to their business, making sure they can help anyone who comes through their door. With this case, though, it’s going to be different.

VERY DIFFERENT.

What begins as their first day back after helping clear Beau Christensen, turns out the be the beginning of a wild ride that no one saw coming.

Enter Arsen Woods—their new employee. He’s going out on his first field case to see how he adjusts to the PI life. Only, when their new client comes in to plead her case, his whole world gets flipped upside down.

She’s adopted.
Like him.

She’s from the same town on his fake birth certificate.
Like him.

And to make it even weirder, their young mothers were at the same school for wayward girls.
Really?
What are the chances?
What begins as a normal case is anything but, and before long, Arsen’s gift has surfaced, and his only hope of getting through any of this is Willow Magillicuddy.

But will she be enough to cushion the blow?

Or will what happened at Mrs. Kelsey’s School for Wayward Girls be so horrible that not only are their hopes and dreams crushed, but so are their chances of survival.

After all, what happened at the school so long ago is a dirty secret—one someone will fight to keep. Life wasn’t the only thing destroyed at that school.

Now, Lost Souls are begging to be free…or else.

I hope you enjoy it when it comes out!!

Now, on to the last FBI book!
Thank you so much for the feedback! We'll be doing the drawing next month for the mega book prize give away. Remember if you want to be added into the contest for a custom made book of your two favorite stories with a deluxe cover made just for you....

sign up for my email list.
Leave a review for The Killing Times.
That's it!

There will be a drawing and you send me the screenshot of the review you left and the prize is yours!!!

happy weekend, and I hope you're having a great beginning to the summer!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Post FBI release

I hope you're all enjoying the newest FBI release!
I know the arc is a long time coming, but I still hope it kept you on the edge of your seat.
As I was reviewing the reviews being left, there were couple that stood out. I thought I would talk about one specifically--not in a bad way. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I need to know if its an isolated case or if it is really time to kill the series and have them go out in a blaze of glory. The one reader thinks I should end the FBI series.

here is what I posted on my FB wall in response:

Dear readers,
Thank you for an amazing week for Revenge Has Come. It's had its highs and it's lows.
Today, a review was left by an anonymous person saying that it was time to end the FBI series. If one person is feeling that, then others might be too. If that's how you feel, please let me know. If that's the case, I will not keep it alive. (If you message me, I won't reveal your name if you say yes.)
I always promised from the beginning that if it began feeling dull or stale, I'd kill it.
So, I'm asking you for your opinion. You don't have to post it here. You can email it to me, message me, etc. I've posted this on my blog, and that way everyone--not just my FB family can have a chance to weigh in.
I'm serious.
I believe that you guys put it at the top, so you have a choice in all of this.
Should u wrap the FBI series, and go out on a high note?

I didn't post the actual review because it has spoilers in it, and I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Thank you,
Morgan.

So, message me below in the comments.

It's here! You are done waiting and now you get the final part of the three part arc.

I hope you enjoy it. You can find it here! Or if you preordered, it should be on your kindles! Enjoy! leave reviews so I know how I did!

Happy reading!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

There's some Croft on the horizon!

Happy Mother's Day weekend, all!

I hope all the mothers out there get pampered, loved, and treated like queens. We're having a quiet weekend here. I'm working, and the family is cleaning (It's a miracle) and doing all the things that I normally do.

We shall see how this goes.
Anyway, I'm here to tell you about 2 more pre-orders that are up, and to tell you some good news. Last post, I told you that I wasn't sure if I was going to do anymore crossovers, since the Littlemoon book didn't seem to get any reviews. I assumed that y'all didn't want any.

I stand corrected. You've gone out, left reviews, and gave me great feedback. SO, I'm officially announcing that in March next year, (2018) there will be another crossover. What one will it be? The Croft and FBI.
March 2018
True Justice

Elizabeth and Ethan will be taking a little trip to Vegas to help the Crofts handle some seedy, nasty, and vicious criminals. So, if you love the Crofts, and you love the Blackhawks, it's going to be fun. Since Ethan was left behind last time, Callen is going to stay in DC and hold down the fort. So, for those of you who are squeamish with a threesome, there won't be any in the Croft/Blackhawk crossover.

Now, for the preorders, there are two.

The first is the new Croft Mob Series book, Paid Justice. You're going to get more details on Dimitri and his past. You're also going to meet more of his family, and someone in the Croft Family is going to die.
Yes, I killed someone off.
You'll have to read it to see who is not making it out of the next book.
So, if you want to see what's going on in Vegas, here's the link to the next Croft book. I promise you'll laugh, cry, and curse my name.
(as usual)
Available August 4th

If that weren't enough, because I love you all, (and are a little afraid of you...hahahahh) I've also given you a novella. It's all about the upcoming wedding. Dante and Steele are getting hitched.

Now, some of you have contacted me and voiced your unhappiness about a gay male couple in the book. You don't want the sex scenes. I heard you. While I don't agree, I do like to make all of you happy when you're reading my books. It should be a way to escape, not be angry or upset. So, in order to do that, I've decided not to do the wedding in the actual book, Paid Justice. That way, you, who want the sex scene will have it in the novella.

For those of you who DO NOT want to know anything about it, don't read the novella. It's that simple.

Wedding of Our Dreams won't have too many things that will make you fall behind for the crossover book in 2018. There is only ONE new character introduced, and you will be able to figure it out in the regular book next year.

Now, for those of you who want to read the novella, but just don't want to read the sex scene, I can tell you that the ONLY time that Dante and Steele have sex is ONCE and at the very end of the Novella. You can read the whole thing, meet the new character, and still avoid reading the m/m sex scene.

I've tried to accommodate all of you to refrain from angry review where you're shocked and horrified. There is a warning in the front of the book, in the description and on the cover with the title. Wedding of our Dreams: STEELE and DANTE.

available Aug 5th!

If you're one of my pre-order readers, you can find the novella here. It's about 250 pages long, and it's going to have a whole lot of hilarity, mayhem, and chaos with the family leading up to the wedding. If you're wondering where in Paid Justice the wedding should have taken place, it will be in the end of the book, clearly marked. That way you can stop reading the Croft book, read the novella (if you choose) and then go back to finish the last few pages if you want to read it exactly how it happens chronologically.
If you don't want to stop and read, finish Paid Justice, and then be cognizant that the wedding happened at the end of the book, right before the final scene with Chris and Dimitri.

So, that's what I have for you.
I'm doing my approval for Revenge has Come. It's out next month, and you'll find out what happens to Elizabeth and Ethan, will the family survive, and how Bonnie is really going to screw with their lives.
We'll meet new people (who will have their own trilogy) and new agents. Elizabeth loves her baby birds.
If you haven't pre-ordered, you can find it here.

Available June 2cd.

Also, some of you have asked how to get added to my email list. Why is it important? Because at some point this year, and I already know when, I'll be releasing a surprise anthology. If you're not on my email list, you won't know when it's available.
Plus, there will be other secret things that go out that way too. It's easy to join, and your email is safely protected by me. No one has it, and no one sees it. In fact, I don't even see it. All I know is the company I use swears they protect everyone's emails.
So, here's the link.

It's fast, simple, and you'll only get emails from me when there's a book coming out or up for preorder. Plus, in honor of my 50th novel being released next month, one lucky email participant will receive a surprise gift from me for being on my email and leaving a review.
So, if you've left a review for The Killing Times, and you're on my email list, you are automatically entered for the drawing. A winner will be chosen, and they will be contacted by me personal. They will be asked to show a screen shot of the Killing Times review, and once they do, they will get a special gift that NO ONE will ever have access to, and I'll tell you more later.
Trust me. I would kill for this gift.

So, if you haven't left a review for the Killing Times, please do. If you haven't signed up for my emails, please do. There will be an email explaining what you will be receiving. It will be custom made for you. :)

Thank you for everything!
You are the best fans, and I love you all!

Happy weekend, all.
If you have a mother...call her. Childbirth sucks. and she deserves at least a call.

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.
Momma of two little angels.

Next year's Books!

Happy Spring, all!
I'm tucked away in my recliner recovering from spinal fusion surgery, and I haven't been ignoring you! I finally got into my FB and email account to get some work done!

WOW! You've all been busy asking questions!

Today, I figured I'd answer some of them. You know, since I'm a captive audience. (Think Misery! Send help! hahahhaah)

I hope you all had a happy Easter season, and it was filled with blessings, peace, and love. Now, on to the questions.

Morgan,

Are you okay? You've been suspiciously quiet on FB. I miss your funny posts. Are you alive? Do you need help? Has one of your fans kidnapped you and are they monopolizing you? We can come find you!

Tricia.

Well, first off, Tricia, no, I'm not being held against my will, but thank you for making me spill my coffee all over myself in laughter. Last week, I underwent my second back surgery, and I had to have my spine fused in my neck. Years of athletics in college and child birth have not been my friend. I'm on hiatus to recover. I'll be back in the office right before Revenge has Come releases in June. Thank you for offering to rescue me. I suspiciously think you might make me write for just you...

Morgan,

I saw on your website www.morgankelley.come that you have two paranormal series coming out. Can you tell us when?

Maxie

Maxi, I do have them in the line up. I'll be honest. They may come out, and they may not come out. It's all driven by reviews. When a series breaks, we look at the feedback and decide if it's popular enough to hold it's own. How? Reviews. We go in and see how many books are sold per unit, and if it will sustain the market. (Meaning can I pay the team and still pay for marketing, covers, promos, etc.) It's a business model, and I won't bother you with that. Basically, if you don't leave me reviews, I don't know if you like the book. No reviews to us means it's a flop, and we drop it from the rotation.

For example, we have the vamp book. In 6 books, it sold over 8000 copies. We only got 50 reviews total. I have to decide if that's feedback enough to push a spin off out, or if I have to free up that spot for another book from a stronger series.

That's the only way I can tell if I'm doing a good job.
So, as of right now, there is a hold on the Chronicle series, and the Vamp series spin off. If you want to see it out there, I need feedback. Leave a review.

Miss Kelley,

Thank you for the Littlemoon/FBI crossover. Will there be more? What can I do to make sure that happens? Do you need a back rub? Bribery? How about my first born? I'm not using him right now and he can cut grass.

Sally S.

LOL.
Well, come to think of it, my shoulders are a little... kidding. You don't have to bribe me. Well, okay, that's total BS, and channeling Elizabeth, I'd say something like, if you want me to deliver the goods, stop the jackassery, head on out to Amazon, and leave some reviews!
That's bribery enough for me.
If you see the above question, it deals with how to get me to do what you want--in lieu of book releases. If you want more crossovers, then leave a review. I'll be honest. Sales were good for the Crossover, but it only got 13 reviews. 13. That's the lowest reviews ever for an FBI or Littlemoon book. As of right now, there was a crossover planned for March with the FBI/Crofts, and then Littlemoon and Oracle in the future. It's on hold. If the books aren't getting reviews, I can't justify the time for the writing and editing. Writing a crossover is a lot of work, and with a 14 book schedule this year, I barely have time to eat and sleep.

SO IF YOU WANT MORE...Yeah, I hate to sound like a broken record, but reviews matter so much. If I don't see feedback, I assume it's because it sucked. So, right now, the team and I are not going forward with the next crossover. That can change, but only you can do that. You have to decide if it's going to happen.

So, Sally, I know it's a pain in the ass, but go to Amazon, or at the end of your kindle page, when the reviews pop up, write one. You can't just put in stars. They don't register. Instead, you have to write something. It doesn't have to be long. Go back and do lots of reviews! Show me some love so I can keep delivering books to you!

Morgan,

If that's your real name. How do you keep coming up with books? Are there more of you? Are you employing ghost writers? What's the secret? How do you not have writer's block?

Jess.

It's actually not my real name. LOL. Sorry, but if you try to find a Morgan Kelley, she's not real. She's my alter ego. I wasn't born a Morgan. I will tell you that my real middle name is Elizabeth. That's all you get. As you can see from some of these emails, I worry about being abducted to be your personal writing monkey. (Misery). lol.

How do I keep coming up with books? Well, I don't know. I've been asked this before, by readers and other authors, but I don't have an answer. In my head, there's a whole lot of chaos. Writing calms it. I let the stories out, and in exchange, they let me sleep 4 hours a night. lol.

There are not more of me. (That terrifies my husband. You get a gold star!) I'm one woman, in her office, from 2 am to 3 pm every day, writing.  I sit, I write, I move on to the next book. Rachel and Laura will attest that I answer all of my own emails, i'm only one person, and I do the job pretty much on my own (they do the editing, and my kid does the book covers--along with other artists). I don't employ ghost writers. When you read someone's book, or books--in this case--you can't duplicate that style. The sarcasm, how I always use certain nuances for my books, and that can't be copied. Elizabeth is Elizabeth, Emma is Emma, and they are all in my head, and my head alone.

There's no secret. Stephen King once said you go to your office, and you write 2000 words a day--every day. PERIOD. You keep writing. It's like a craft. If you stop, you get rusty. It's NOT like riding a bicycle. Ex? Right now, I'm rereading the FBI series. There is a HUGE difference in my writing style from The Killing Times to now. HUGE. While you might not notice, I do. It's cleaner now, it's smoother, and that only comes from practice. I've been releasing books since Sept 2013. 4 years this September, and they do get better because I'm honing my craft.

That's it. Practice makes perfect.

As for writer's block... This isn't going to be a popular answer among my writer friends. There's no such BULLSHIT. If you can't take a story further, there's a reason. You screwed up in the formula. When I hit a wall, I back up and reread my work. Usually, it's because I've written something that's not working. If you have the ability to tell stories, you will tell them. If you don't, you can't. I can't do brain surgery. Not because I wouldn't want to be a great surgeon, but because that's not my gift. I'm a storyteller. That's what I do. So, I don't buy into the whole...'I can't finish this book. I have writer's block. I'll go get some coffee and put it on the back burner for now.'

You will NEVER finish it. The odds are NOT in your favor. You push past, and you get the story out. Then you go back in a month, reread, and see what happened. Like Stephen King...you keep writing.

I hope that answered all of your questions!
Again, if you want more crossovers, go leave reviews! Some of you have posted in the reviews that you wanted more, and I heard you. Now... time for the rest of the readers to do the same!

Leave a review, and I'll fill your 2018 with vamps, witches, and crossovers galore!

See you in June for another month of fun! Bonnie's coming! Be ready!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan

Sunday, April 9, 2017

Good morning!

Blessed day, my friends.

I hope you're all enjoying the newest Littlemoon book. Did it ease some of your worries? Did you read it and let out that breath that you've been holding since the last FBI book?

I hope so!
I'm just popping in before my spinal surgery on Tuesday to give you all an update of what's to come in the next few months.
I've just set up the pre-order for the next Oracle book. Oracle Haunting will pick up where the last book let off, but this time in Ireland. The team will be chasing a non-psychic killer for a change. It's going to prove to be even harder, since Oracle can't connect with the bad guy.

Oracle Haunting is now available for preorder here.
It will be released on July 7th, 2017. I hope you enjoy it. I loved writing Laird and Brianna's story. You can't base a book in Ireland and not have some spookiness of Irish Lore. Bring on the ghosts, the witches, and the Celtic spookiness!

May is my month off. I never release a book in May, simply because with mother's day everything is always chaos!

June is going to be Bonnie's return in Revenge has Come. If you don't remember Bonnie, head back in time and reread Slay Bells Ringing (12). You'll reacquaint yourself with Bonnie and Clyde. There's a grudge match coming, and Elizabeth is wearing the bull's-eye for this one.

Elizabeth is going to be recovering from her injury and that sexy pink cast. On top of that, her family is still splintered apart due to her and Chris's past relationship. We'll see her and Ethan fixing what they both broke, but will it be enough?

Bonnie is coming, and she's out for blood.

July, again, will be the Oracle book above. I really enjoyed writing it. For next year, I've switched up the order. The Oracle book will be out in February instead of January. I'm going to be doing the FBI double release in January. I like to start the year off right. :)

August will be the next Croft Book. I love those books because Greyson Croft reminds me of my husband. I married a caveman, and I'm a very lucky girl. He's been molded and made after the image of my sexy husband. In this book, we're going to be getting ready for Steele and Dante's wedding. We're also going to be going head to head against a killer who is so sick and twisted that it's going to rattle the family. In Paid Justice, you're going to start to get the backstory of Dimitri Gideon. His nightmares, his past, and everything that has made him the man he is today. In Paid Justice, someone in the family is going to die, and that's going to change everything.

August 4th 2017

But that's not all! I couldn't give you a book without Steele and Dante's wedding. I know some of my readers are uncomfortable with the M/M genre, and they don't want a gay sex scene in their books, so I've opted to do Steele and Dante's story in a separate Novella. It's going to give you the day before the wedding, the day of the wedding, and the honeymoon. The novella WILL have sex with Steele and Dante at the end. If you still want the novella, but don't want the gay sex, don't read the last ten pages after they get married. There will be lots of fun in the Novella. You'll get interaction again between Emma and Regina, the Croft boys behaving badly, and you'll meet Steele's brother, Ben. We found out about him in an early Croft book. Well, Steele has never known about him.

He does now.

So, in August, you'll be getting two times the Crofty goodness with Paid Justice and Wedding of Our Dreams.

The Novella will be out August 5th. The day after Paid Justice.

September will bring us back to the next Littlemoon book. In Lost Souls, we pick up where Kiss of Souls leaves off. We find out what happens to Beau and Nyx. We find out how the team is dealing with no Lena, and the haunted building from hell.

We also dive into Arsen and Willow's new relationship. Only, as I was wrapping Lost Souls, I couldn't leave it there. They had more story, and it's going to be intertwined with London Daniel's story. I hope you fall in love with them Arsen is coming into his psychic ability as he hunts for his real mother. In the process, he finds a lot more family than he bargained for.

Lost Souls will be out September 8th, 2017. It will be one hell of a ride.

October is a month of spookiness and thing that go bump on the night. Well, it's going to be the same for Elizabeth, Ethan, and Callen. As Elizabeth heads to Boston to be Jackson James' arm candy for a book event, she finds out that a killer there is just begging to be caught. Only, it reminds her of her past, and a case that she and Christopher Leonard handled when they were just starting out. This is going to be the three book arc. So, what happened in Discarded by Fate, will play out in the next two books.

Discarded by Fate will be out October 6th, 2017.
It will set up an interesting Storyline where we're going to eventually meet Jaxon and Jagger's 'Dead' father.

November will be a double release month. I know I said the anthology would be a surprise, but I had so many readers ask that I give them advance notice for budge reasons. So, I'm going to tell you that the first book in the new anthology will be Black Friday.

So, in November, you're going to have my newest series. I have the Hunter Trilogy coming out, and it's going to be about Dakota Rakin. Remember him? He's the US Marshal tasked with hunting down Bonnie. He's also a man from Elizabeth's past. Well, so many of you loved him and wanted his story, so you're going to get it. In November, you'll have his first book in the Hunter Trilogy, Atonement.

So, you'll have Dakota's story line on November 8th, 2017.

You'll meet him and two men who will be helping him clean up the streets of New Orleans. I can't tell you how he gets to this point, or it will ruin the storyline in Revenge has Come. After you read the FBI book in June, your question will be answered.

Out November 24th 2017

On Black Friday, you'll have an anthology to keep you entertained after your shopping is done, or if you're like me and don't go out into the crazy. This is the first in the Romance Anthology. They are short stories with all of your favorites. You know I give out clues to upcoming books, so if you like to try and figure out what's coming, you definitely want this anthology. There will be two more coming in 2018 and 2019. It's Good to be the Boss will rock your world.

December will round out the year, and it will be the final Vampyre book in the Harcourte series, Dangerous Destruction. Big changes are coming. They are going to have to make sacrifices to keep their children alive, and satisfy the bargain that they've made with Death. They are going to find the head of the Tueur and show him who owns New Orleans once and for all.

Now, I know a lot of people don't like vampire books, but I promise you these are not the normal vamps. Jolie and Jacques are old, but they get it. Flynn is human, and he's going to switch it up and make their lives take a whole new turn. There's the dead, there's humans, vamps, and then there's some demon-y sexiness thrown into the mix. If you like threesomes, you will like this series. Trust me. Have I lied to you yet?

Dangerous Destruction will be out December 8th, 2017

I'm spinning off the vamp series for all my readers who can't get enough of the threesome. If you love some paranormal fun, this will be another series you'll enjoy.

Well, that's it for 2017. It's been a wild year. I've laid out 14 book releases for all of you this year, and that's the most I've ever done. As always, thank you for reading my books, and following me on FB, Instagram, and Twitter. If you don't follow me, send me a request, and I'll add you. You never know what I'm going to say or do next.

Have a great Easter holiday, and I'll see you all after surgery in June!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Kiss of Souls!

Hey, all!
Guess what today is?
It's release day, and I know you're anticipating the crossover between the Littlemoons and Elizabeth Blackhawk. I left you all hanging after the last FBI book, and in this one, you'll see what has been going on from Elizabeth's perspective over the last 4 weeks. It will be the book right before everyone's favorite criminal, Bonnie, is back.

I hope you enjoy it!

Here's the link if you haven't preordered, or if you need it for today's release!
You can find it here.

I'm heading off to hiatus for the next 6 weeks! I'll be back right before the next FBI book is out!

Happy reading!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan!

Surprises coming this year.

LOST JUSTICE

Hey all!
Long time no post!

I'm popping in to give you an update. I'm going on an early hiatus starting April 1st to have another spinal surgery.
That's the bad news...for me.
The good news?
All the books are off being edited or proofed, and this year is right on schedule.
If you're my friend on FB, you know that I dropped a huge surprise for this August. Not only will you be getting Paid Justice, the third Croft mob book, but you're getting a second book that month. I'll be releasing a novella for all of you who want Dante and Steele's wedding story.
The book will be over 200 pages, and it will have all the details.

YAY!

Here is the cover.

SO, if you're squeamish about the sexy man on man action, skip the novella. Just read the book.  There will be no m/m sex in the Croft book, Paid Justice

I've had many people ask me if there was going to be a special wedding book, and I didn't think I could pull it off, but somehow, I managed to get it done.

So, for August, you'll have two books, taking this year's book total to 13 releases. My lucky number!

Now more good news!!!! TOMORROW is a book release! Lost Justice, the next Croft mob book will be available. Check back in tomorrow for the links, head on out to Amazon or click here to get your copy!

 Hey, everyone!

I hope you're having a good book reading weekend!
Yesterday, Stalked by the Past was released, and I took you on a rollercoaster ride.
Today, Dying to Love was released, and you got to see what happens when someone isn't honest in their relationship.

It likely left you a little stirred up.
I'm glad. I want my books to make you laugh, cry, scream, and want to kill me. (okay maybe not that)
So what's next?
Is morgan making us wait until June for the next book?
No.

If you want to get some resolution for what happens at the end of Dying to Love, the 18th FBI book, you'll get it in April with Kiss of Souls.
It's a Littlemoon Blackhawk cross over.

You can preorder it here.

It will answer some of the questions before Revenge has Come is released in June.

Happy reading!

Something new!

Morning!

Happy Monday!

How are you all doing? Are you just about finished with Oracle Saving?
Well, if you are, something new is about to go down. On Sunday, January 15th, the first ever Morgan's Book Club is going to kick off.

Our book, Oracle Saving.

What's?????
Has Morgan lost her mind?
Probably.
I've decided that anymore, after a release of a book, that month, you'll get a chance to log into facebook and have a real time chat with me about what you've read. We'll discuss the story, what you think should have happened, what you think I should do next, or just ask me random questions.

It'll be new, different, and give you a chance to get to know me. Time is to be released, but I'm aiming for noon Eastern Standard time, since that's a mid point here and in Europe. I'll give a definite time later this week when I'm one hundred percent sure.

There's a couple of catches.

1. You don't want to come if you HAVEN'T read Oracle Saving. There will be spoiler discussions, and that will ruin it for you.

2. You have to come to my FB page. Not my personal one, but the business one. Here's a link to it. If you like it, and make sure you're following me, you'll have access to the video.

https://www.facebook.com/Author-Morgan-Kelley-302609053207268/

So, click like.
Then Click following. If you hit the drop down arrow, inside there will be choices. One will say
Notifications

ON (Suggested Live videos)

That will alert you when I'm going live.

So, if you want to join my book club, come back here for the time, and we'll have some fun!
If possible, in the comment section below, type 'I'm in!' so I know to wait for you, or drop me a message on my FB page.

I look forward to seeing you!
Get ready to get your Oracle on.

Much love, mayhem, and murder,
Morgan.

If you haven't pre-ordered, or you're a Kindle unlimited customer, go here.

I hope you enjoy the story, and will leave me a review! Will Oracle save Jagger?

You're about to find out.

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

What's coming up?

Morning all!

A couple days ago, I did a FB live video to talk about the new year! If you're not on my friend list, or you haven't liked my page, I didn't want you to miss out.

Here it is!

I'll be doing monthly talks about the upcoming books in the series, right after you read them. It's going to be called Morgan's Book Club, and it'll give you, the reader, a chance to ask me questions.

So many times I've been asked if I'm real or if there is a team writing my books. I am very real! This is me, and this is your chance to meet me.

Happy New Year, all!

See you tomorrow with Oracle Saving! It's release day!!!!

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a beautiful holiday season! Myself and my family spent lots of time together, and I am READY to head back to work on Tuesday. I actually missed my office. It's all covered in cobwebs and dust.

Okay, that's exaggerating, but you know what I mean.
What's up first for me?
Friday, Oracle Saving is releasing, and you'll get the first book of 2017! I can't wait for you to read it. I just did my final approval, and it reminded me how much I love Avalon and her makeshift band of saviors.

I even cried a few times.
So, that being said, there is death in this book. Have tissues ready, and you'll see what I mean. I can't tell you more.

I also want to give you a heads up, again, about Stalked by the Past, and Dying to Love, the 17th and 18th FBI books out Feb 3rd and 4th. They will have a cliff hanger at the end, and I don't really like doing them, but had I not, Dying to love would have been about 1200 pages by itself. Let's not go crazy.
hahahhaahah.

Back to the book.

When you read Dying to Love, you'll get it. I needed something so earth shattering, as the team went into book 19. Revenge has Come is Bonnie's return, and you need to trust me to lead you through it. I promise it will have a happy ending.
For those of you freaking out at what I may have done, if you read Kiss of Souls, the 7th Littlemoon book, you'll see something awesome. It's actually a crossover book.

Yes, you read that right. Elizabeth and Callen are called in to help Tori save her brother. Instead of a cameo, they have a huge role in the book.

You'll also get a little relief from the cliffhanger in Dying to Love. I pretty much tell you how its going to work out. So, if you read all my series, in the order they are written, you're golden. If you don't...

Sorry.
HAHAHAHA.

After the book release, I'm going to be starting Oracle Haunting, and I can't say anything, since the prior one hasn't released. All I can say is after the fallout, I'm looking to lighten everyone's spirits. It should be fun.
I know I can't wait!

I really love my job!

So, as I dust off my keyboard this week, have yourself  a blessed, safe, and love filled New Years, from my family to yours.

Much love, mayhem, and murder.
Let's get 2017 started right.

Morgan.

Post election day.

Do the Election results have you down?
Are you excited?

Well, I have good news!

The next two books in the FBI series are up for pre-order.

The fallout continues.
Elizabeth LaRue is still licking her wounds from ‘letting’ The Butcher escape. He may be dead and in his grave, but now so is her career.
With a new case, she only hopes that she can bring this Lazarus back to life. With the help of some local vice cops, Charlie LaRue, and Gabe Rothschild, Elizabeth is poised to take back her life and make her career in the FBI count.
‘It ain’t over ‘til it’s over.’
And she’s going down swinging.
Her professional life isn’t the only thing upside down and stirred up. With Chris at her side, continuing his role as best friend, something is changing between them. Their roles have flipped, their feelings are morphing, and two ‘orphans’ in DC are moving closer together.
Is that a good thing or the biggest mistakes of their lives?
Only time will tell.
Hookers.
Crazies.
And Miss Kitty, OH, MY!
By the time this case is over, it’s going change fate so many years down the road. What happens in your past, doesn’t always stay there. Sometimes, being Stalked by the Past can have deadly consequences.

The past is never the past.
Elizabeth Whitefox-Blackhawk is learning that better than any person. With a secret that she and Chris Leonard carry, she’s trying to balance her life, the men she loves, and a case that is reminding her of something that happened in her past.
Hookers.
Blood.
Dead children.
It’s getting to be too much for even her.
With each rose left for her and each letter scrawled on the wall, she’s sinking deeper and deeper into the panic. If the truth comes out, she’s beyond screwed. Once, she’d battle through, but time, cases, and her personal life are taking a toll. Elizabeth is marked to die by the hands of someone who really wants to love her.
--Love her to death.
All that stands between her and the grave is the men she loves more than her own life.
But when the truth comes out, who will be left standing?
Can there be an Elizabeth Whitefox-Blackhawk without Callen and Ethan?
Or will she be left Dying to Love.

You can find them here and here.

They will be out for release in Feb 2017.

Have a great week, and don't forget to leave some reviews! Show an author you love her :)

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

Morgan.

Morning!

Happy Election day!

I hope everyone goes out and votes. I know we're all really sick of the whole thing, but we're almost there! Hang in there. It will be done in a day!

We made it!

How is the newest Vampyre book? I hope you're enjoying it. This week I received two messages about how the readers didn't think they'd like them, since vampyres have been done so many times, but they did.
These aren't your normal vamps. I swear. They are going to entertain you and you'll have fun every second of the way. Who doesn't like some sexy threesome fun?

I know Jolie is a woman after my own heart.

Now for some more news.
I've been doing this for almost 3/4 of a decade. I write, I release, I keep going. Well, something has to change. After talking it over, mulling it over, and losing sleep over it, I've had to come to a conclusion. The price of my books are going up.
Here's why.
I currently offer all my book for 3.99. I swore I'd never raise the price, but something has happened. I've been pirated. Someone has been stealing my books. (not one person, but a few.) They are selling them to bootleg companies that are illegally offering them on their websites. I've had to hire an attorney to begin getting them taken down.
In order to be able to pay a retainer, since we're talking about 25 of my 43 books being stolen, it's going to have to come from somewhere. I also have a few readers who buy my books, and return them within the 7 day window to amazon. They are stealing too.
It's been getting worse, so I am having to hire my attorney to go after them too. And he will.

Here's my breakdown.
At 3.99, I get paid 2.70 a book. Amazon keeps almost 1.30. Seems fair. They distribute and handle releasing my books. Of that 2.70 that's left, I have to pay taxes.
Yeah, I know. Yippee.
I lose about 1.00 per book to taxes.
That leaves me 1.70 a book.
Out of that 1.70 a book, I have to pay for editing. Each book gets 3 rounds of editing.
I release 12 books a year. That's a whole lot of editing.
Then there are book covers, and cover art.
That takes me down to about .70 cents a book left.
Then promotion.
That takes me down to about .15 cents a book.
Now, I have to find a way to pay for the attorney's fees for the people who are stealing from me. Unfortunately, like with any business, when people do illegal things, like steal, pirate, or rob a business, the rest of the consumers have to carry the burden. So, I'm going to have to up my book prices to 4.99 to cover the legal fees that I now have to handle.

I am so damn sorry.
I hate every single second of this. From the start, I didn't want to charge more than 3.99. For the longest time, that was feasible. I never counted in the fact that people would steal from me. That breaks my heart. I figured that I would be able to keep it up, since I don't draw a salary. Clearly. at .15 cents a book, I do this for the love of writing. I live off my husband's salary, and this was to give good people quality books that they deserved to get at good prices, but now I'm having to dip into the money that I use to buy groceries, pay for my kids doctor's appointments, and our home bills.
Until this moment, I've never had to do that.
Now, since people feel it's okay to steal, and one book doesn't hurt anyone, let's really think about that. I have 50 people stealing from me each month just in returned books they've read and sent back to Amazon.
That's 200.00 a month.
2400.00 a year that I have to find to recoup somewhere. As of this moment, I've just been using my husband's paycheck to cover it.
Now I have to add in a lawyer.
that's 5000.00 a year.

See how this is looking?
I never thought that i'd become a bestselling author. I wrote for fun. Now that I have, I've seen that there are so many issues I never thought about.

So, starting after the Oracle book in January, I'll be increasing my book prices by one dollar. I know it's not fair to any of you, but I have three choices. Cut back on books, make them smaller, or do the increase.

I'm sorry.
I actually cried over all of this.
I apologize to my readers who are on a budget who now have to shell out one more dollar because of the dishonest, mean, cruel people out there. But Karma will prevail. WHEN they are caught, I will lower the price back down. For any book under 500 pages, they will stay 3.99.
For any books over 500 pages, they will be 4.99.

Again, I hope you forgive me.
This has been a hard blog to write.
I hate that I've done it.

I'm going to go write Kiss of Souls now, and try to forget that I've had to raise the price of my books when I promised I wouldn't.
For those of you on Kindle Unlimited, they will still be free.

I hope you keep reading my books, but I understand if you don't.
I'm truly sorry.

Much love, mayhem, and murder,

A very sad Morgan.
